I completed the Legend of Red Eagle ages ago.

I'm still getting jobs off Jarls and from Innkeepers to kill leaders of Forsworn/Bandit camps at Red Eagle Redoubt, (about two or three now). My problem is that the quest/map marker doesn't appear for the location when it is selected, so the quest is not becoming "live".

Up to now I have ignored the fact that the marker doesn't appear and gone ahead anyway. The same old foes always respawn and when I make it to the top, there's even a copy of the book, The Legend of Red Eagle and there's also a dead Briarheart holding a "Red Eagle's Fury". Reading the book strangely triggers the Dungeon Quest (again), even though it has long since been completed.

I push on to Rebel's Cairn. I slide the sword into yhe pedestal and the secret door opens. I go into the inner chamber and it seems to be the only area that has not respawned in any way. There's nothing left to pilfer, so I backtrack, take the sword out of the pedestal and head off into the wilderness.

I now have probably four or five of these damned swords so I have now started flogging them!

So unfortunately yet another buggy/glitchy quest remains in my inventory which clutters things up.

Is there any answer to this sort of problem.
