I had a couple of followers that were accompanying me on various quests.

The first one I picked up, (besides good old Lydia), was Illia who helped me out with matriciding her mother at Dark Light Tower. I left her waiting, I thought quite safely, in my little house in Whiterun enjoying milk and cookies with Lydia.

For the most part I enjoy working alone. To be frank sometimes gaving a follower can be liability. I'm sure many will be in agreement.

I've also misplaced my sidekick who was assigned to me in Markarth. He was a rough looking chap, possibly with a bald head and tatoos. I think his name was Argis the Bulwark.

He disappeared when I got to Hags End and I ain't seen him since.

Where have the gone? Will we ever meet again?

I'm going to need a gullible follower for a quest I happened across involving the Boethia Cult, so can anyone suggest anything?

Have you checked Darklight Tower for Illia, and Markarth for Argis? Sometimes followers will go back to their original location.

They have probably heard about you murdering NPCs in their sleep just to clear your quest logs and have made a run for it...
