I have gotten a message in game that says something along the lines that I have gained a Synergy skill point. The last time I got this was while mining ore. What exactly is a Synergy skill point and can I do anything with it? I have done a search for Synergy skill points and come up empty.

As far as I can tell, there is no such thing in stock Skyrim. Are you playing a modded game?

It seems to be a Skyrim message. I have all the DLC's and a few mods installed but I don't recall any mod mentioning Synergy skill points at all. It might be a Steam message of some kind but I don't think so. I am going to look at the Steam achievements and see if Synergy shows up there at all.

Looks like it's a part of the mod Amazing Follower Tweaks

Yes, that is whats causing it. I see what it does now, you can have your followers do all the fighting yet still get some skill experience out of it. Its a option that can be turned off. Guess I need to pay more attention when reading the mod read me files in the future.
