Does this 'New' extend to the Forums here as well. Cuz I'm still fairly new here and can't seem to find a thread for how to add the ElderStats banner, or where/how those 'I am the Trader(Magician, etc.) images come from -- or getting them inserted. I know how it should be done [generally], but I seem to be missing it on the User Control panel/ updating segment. Help, someone? ThX Huge. :)

Largely because there is no thread saying how to do it. Reminds me I ought to update mine...

Step one is create the elderstats profile.

Step two is to find the code for embedding bit on the stat card, which is under - My Panel -> Stat cards

Step three is to open the user control panel here on these forums, find the section to change the signature, then copy the embedding code into the gap, like this: [ hide][img]link[/img][/hide]

That brings it out like it is in my signature. Then you have to wait a day or so for it to update any changes made.

ETA - you have to remove the space I added in the hide to get it to work.

O.K. I did go to elderstats n create a profile... I just missed the part on the user panel area I guess. So thanks. Again, though, where/how do I get one of those 'I am the Magician' type banners that I've seen around? They look sweet. Again (too) Thanks. LOL

Ah ha! Got the 'sweet banner'! Thanks! Now I'll do the elderstats one next (which doesn't seem to be updated[ing], so I guess I'll have to figure that out next LOL), then on to more important things. :)

Orc that uses 2h & wears heavy; or bow/arrow 'n' dual-daggers assassin?

Yup, there are basically two ways you can go about it - either close the distance as soon as you can and bring them down quick with a heavy weapon, or play the dodging sniper and stay far. The second way takes more time obviously and can a bit hairy if you can't distract the [&@%!] long enough to take aim, but it's perfectly doable, no matter what you choose.

Ok I told Durak (DG orc follower) to leave 'cause I need another follower temporarily for a quest. But now I try to find him but it seems he's gone missing from the Skyrim game?! Anyone knows the console command to teleport myself to his position? Please is desperately crucial as I have left some rare hard-to-obtain stuff on him

Okay I found Durak...actually I use him as he has no level cap, , but I heard Destruction spells are faster than bows?

However I dunno who are the good mage followers: Eola has low level cap & mana pool, Serana(cured in my game) & Marcurio have level cap of 40, J'zargo only use novice-level spells....

Illia uses fairly strong spells, I've found her to be the strongest mage follower.

Sorry if this has been answered before but I'm a little confused on the Civil War questline.

On my stats tab in the game it says I have completed 9 Civil War quests but still has a 0 for Questlines completed. I liberated Solitude from the Imperials and
Spoiler:
killed General Tullius and that other annoying girl
I thought that was the end. Am I missing something? I'll gladly kill more Imperials but whenever I speak with Ulfric Stormcloak he just thanks me and tells me to go on and do my thing.

I believe that you do, indeed, have one more step left: you have to reunify the whole of Skyrim. They should be sending you off to various forts to battle the Imperials; you can check the wiki page for this quest (but know it may contain spoilers).

Thanks Avron. I have also been thinking that I might have to finish the main story to get the civil war questline to complete too. It's kind of weird. It looks like I've accomplished everything that is posted in that wiki link.

O well I guess as I continue my never-ending adventure in Skyrim I'll try to raid any Imperial camps I come across. Also on a side note I thought the civil war questline was well written and action-packed. I wish it could go on forever haha.

Block, Two handend and destruction are all combat skills so you should mainly focus on these.
Beside this, i would mainly focus on smithing making armor's easier to come by and allow you to upgrade your armor and weapons.

if you fuly focus on two handed i would not spend much skillpoints on block perks you wouldn't use them anyway.

but this said, It all comes down to your own playstyle wich i do not know:P

maybe you should put the difficulty a bit down haha:P
if that doesn't work try a different aproach(tactics in your playstyle) ;)

And stack up potions and other helpful resources  !

On Adept I rarely used any, but now I always make sure I have something useful in my backpack to save myself from a swift death (health potions, paralyze potions, etc.).

that i do but when boss monsters can some times take you out in 3 hits cause they spam power attacks potions become very costly lol
in the end i use my follower as cannon fodder and spam 20 or so hits plus all my magicka just to kill one lol dragons and priests are even worse lmao

on the priest and dragon at shearpoint i used about 30 health and magic potions *50-100 healing types* to kill them lol

I know you posted this a while ago, but I just saw it along with some advice that isn't the most helpful, so I thought I should comment anyway.

It's a bad idea to get your Smithing, Alchemy, and Enchanting levels too high at the beginning since they help to determine your overall level, which most of the enemies in Skyrim are scaled to. The reason you're getting beaten up too easily is because your overall level is high enough to get harder enemies, but your battle skills are still low levelled.

If you want to focus on the crafting skills because you enjoy them, then turn the difficulty down so combat is easier. You'll be able to turn it back to Expert when your characters have gained the skills they need for battle.

Otherwise, try to ensure that you're levelling up at least one weapon and at least one armour skill along with your crafting skills, so that your overall level is mostly in line with your battle skills.
