I recently acquired a copy of the game and decided to install it. I used virtual pc to run Windows XP and followed your guide on the site. When I go to run the bat file everything comes up fine. An error message about accessing hard disk directly pops up which I ignore. The game starts and after a short delay the music for the opening video starts to play, but the screen remains black. I pressed escape a few times and the sounds of the first combat scene on the boat started playing and i can actually control the game, but the screen remains black. Can someone help me please?

Nevermind i figured it out. I was running virtual pc which dosn't have directx. Im now using virtualbox which supports it.
