A werewolf and/or vampire skill tree actually makes sense, since the max level is currently 81 and a half. It seems odd that they'd make the max level a weird number like 81, and also that you max out with leftover experience.

I'm thinking it has something to do with Meridia as well. Dawnguard to me says "you'll be protecting Skyrim from undead". How AWESOME would that be?! Aw man, I really hope it is something like that. I also think there will be a continuation of the dragon story. If there will be around 3 dlcs/expansion packs for this game, we are most certain to have more dragons and answers to a lot of questions regarding Thalmor, Vigilants of Stendarr, etc things that seem shallow right now. I would love to have another storyline on the Mage's College and the Dark Brotherhood, personally.

More undead.
More magic.
Assassin vision.
Good-bye real world...Skyrim is calling. My husband can pay all the bills for a few months. ;)

Considering the rising Thalmor hostilities in Skyrim, I would be very happy if this was an expansion of that content. Bethesda has set themselves up wonderfully for an expansion, DLC, or new ES game focused on the Thalmor-Imperial War. As for Dawnguard, it could be about an island, Solstheim perhaps, or maybe the opening act in a new Great War, centered in Dawnstar. There could be a new or undiscovered prophecy (perhaps a new section of Alduin's wall?), hence the glowing eyes. I really can't wait for this DLC, a shame I probably won't have Xbox Live when it comes out. I have a 2-day pass, though. 8)

You won't need Xbox live to download it early...

Also, expansions mean - level cap increase , powers, new weapons, places, quests, etc.

Basically a new game, just smaller. And Todd said that they will feel like an expansion sooo....

I want a stonking big temple of Meridia where you can join the cause of wiping out all undead, especially the undead elite, vampires, liches, etc. Temple quests and ranks and internal politics and amazing gear and more quests! ALL HAIL MERIDIA!

And...

I want a network of Vampire clans which you can join to cast down the impertinence of that foul daedric princeling meridia. Clan quests and ranks and internal politics and amazing gear and more quests! ALL HAIL THE DARK ONES!

Nuff said.

I still want a deeper Thalmor storyline. I don't think Dawnguard is going to be about the Thalmor tho...

I have a strong gut feeling Dawnguard has nothing to do with vampires. I think the glowing eye thing is just focused way too much.

It *might* include Vampire-related things, but the main focus/story isn't going to be about them I think. As for what it's going to be about, I don't have a damn idea about it - I just don't think it's going to be certain things though.

What if it has to do something to do with the Vigilants of Stendarr?
I suspect Beth will explore the faction more since they seem incomplete in the game. So the glowing eyes could be some sort of blessing bestowed by Stendarr? Maybe it could be of both Meridia and the Vigil teaming up for some reason?

I sure hope not since my main character goes around killing them as if they were the silver hand.

i think we will find out why the Thalmor hate/are afraid of Talos and address this issue

the glowing eyes could mean anything, maybe when Dovakhiin takes on the mantle of Talos his eyes glow yellow

draughr are the other things with blue glowing eyes , maybe Dovakhiin becomes a living 'anti draughr' (aren't draughr evil dead servants of dragons ? )

i would also like to find out what happened to the rest of winterhold

Draugr are ancient Nord warriors who were punished for worshiping the dragons by being made undead and forced to guard tombs for eternity, instead of reaching Sovngard. So it is entirely seemly that the Dovahkiin might be made an anti-draugr by Meridia, which would explain all accounts.

This is what I was wishing for even before Dawnguard was announced (with our discussion about "Talos wearing an amulet of Talos while praying to himself" being a clear indication)

It's really annoying that Beth decided to ram an iron bar up it's PC playing customer's collective ass with the decision to go 360 exclusive for a month, but I'll temper my rage with the fact that we have literally 1000s of mods to spice up our game with that consoletards can only dream about.

Still, PC gamers made Beth into what it is today, from the Terminator 2029 series to the Elder Scrolls series and this is how they repay us. Not as bad as what Bioware has become, but still bad form Beth, bad form.

Difference of opinion /= trolling.

Please stop trying to mod.

Beth's decision is a slap in the face to their loyal PC customers whose dollars put them on the map, it's quite right and proper to draw attention to it. And of course the fact that any version of Skyrim other than PC is inferior in every measurable way.

Consoletards? I don't think that's very nice. Nope, not nice at all. Also, this is for Dawnguard. Not complaining about how you're sad because Xbox get's it a month earlier. Tsk tsk.

Anyway, I think Crossbow aren't the only new weapons we'll get. I think we'll get Crossbows for archery, spears for two-handed, and some other awesome one handed thing.

I REALLY hope Dawnguard is as good as Shivering Isles if not better at least, they have had more than enough time developing it. The hinting at crossbows certainly sounds great as I prefer them over regular bows.

I know it won't be a part of Dawnguard, but I'm really hoping down the line we get an overhaul of the Civil War. The 'battles' are so pathetically small I would barely call them skirmishes. We need 100s of actors simultaneously fighting on the screen, battlemages, assassin crossbowmen, the works. Hardware requirements, or should I say console requirements preclude this and the fact that no RPG maker has ever done an epic battle scene well whether it be PC or console.

And it would be nice to have some acknowledgement of your deeds in the world beyond a few guard quips.

part of the problem with the civil war quests is that the scaling mechanic that makes the enemy solider stronger based on what level you are is broken, they dont get the appropriate damage and health boosters.

Also I would say
1. Having guards take over forts formally occupied by bandits/witches
2. Having a tower's entire guard regiment get replaced
3. Having a town's Jarl get replaced
4. Having guards, and some towns people, make mention of who won

is pretty good acknowledgement of what you did.

While I agree with the basic idea in your post this can't be done at the moment for a number of reasons.
