"If you look very closly, you can see an arse-horse, a rare specimen that walks around on its buttocks instead of legs."

"Extreme deer hunting."

"I used to be an adventurer like you, but then... well, things REALLY went downhill..."

"Quick! Evasive maneuvers!"

I scoff at your measly 512x512 vanilla textures.

"Lydia, that is my horse. Get off, or you will be FUS RO DAH'd."

And just when you think there is nothing new that Skyrim can throw at you, you run into... invisible flaming Khajiits. Thanks, Bethesda.

I'm attempting to talk my dad into getting a more powerful graphics card for my computer. The low framerate is starting to become intolerable. Oh, this Nvidia GeForce GT 220 is a good card, you say? Yeah, sure, if all you play are old games. My old ATI Radeon HD 4300/4500 ran Skyrim on high/very high while recording video without me having to drop the settings. But I'm starting to rant.

Here's the screenshots:

Indeed.

I managed to sweet-talk Skyrim into running on high, but I had to ditch the ENB. Again.
It was causing my game to lag even when I had it turned off.

Got two more screenshots:

Yeah, you could definitely use an upgrade over your current card. If your motherboard has any PCIe 2.0 slots, one of these could be the way to go. A 6770 is sufficient to run the vanilla game on High, but if you have the money you could get an even more powerful one and fully max out the game.

Heck, my old 4300/4500 1GB ran the game on high with no lag while recording gameplay. I'd love to have my old ATI card back, but not after what it started doing when the 1.6 update was released (I have a video of it on my Youtube page). Of course, my dad refuses to use ATI cards now because of it. *sigh*

I wish I did have the money, but until I learn to drive and get a job, I don't have any.
Though I suspect when I do have enough money I'll just get an entirely new computer. This one is nearly two years old and I'm starting to consider giving it a name: Spazz. Then again, it's always been like that.

But for now, I've managed to convince (with a hammer held in a very threatening manner) this GT 220 1GB to run on high settings with little to no lag.

I would post more screenshots to stay on topic, but I haven't played in a couple of hours and it's a little too late to play now.

My new favorites of my battlemage, Khazakra:
Spoiler:
Currently no camera + custom head tracking mod yet. The only way I could do a picture like this is to go to the face sculptor and toggle menus. Crashed my game but it was worth it!

I'm baaaaaaaaaack! My computer crashed so I was banned from Skyrim for 2 months. Also managed to lose a bunch of my saves. I lost my illusion mage totally so I guess I just have to recreate her >_<. Oh well. At least Steam managed to save Yakov :D

Are those vanilla Daedric gauntlets, or are they a mod? They seem a little dark to me. :)

Yeah, they are vanilla gauntlets. My slight photo editing might make them look darker though.

I created a new character + downloaded the "unlevelled world" -mod.

Two Deathlords at level 3? Whoopee! (I like totally didn't run away with my tail between my legs after I took this pic. Totally.)

Dude has a sneaky smile XD

Only got two screenshots today.
My dad was inspecting my computer yesterday and I've got caught up in Oblivion once again.

Going through the Dark Brotherhood here:

My dad has a more powerful card for my computer (Nvidia GeForce GTX something), but he's had to order a new power supply.
And apparently he's also going to increase the RAM from 4 to 8. For a total cost of around $460. Which, apparently, is more than he paid for my computer two years ago. Of course, this is all assuming the card will work with the computer anyway. Just have to wait for the parts to arrive.

Dohvakiin2012 - I like second-to-last picture XD

Cats! I'm a kitty cat

"Yo, my axe is stuck!"

"Aww, I like that you made yourself armor which matches mine."
".... whatever."

Eat this!

Aaand... I hate/love how this mod keeps trolling me. Two Deathlords with ebony weapons at level 11.

"Look! I can breathe fire like a dragon!"

It's Draugr Deathlord from hell! (Really. He was. Kept disarming my fireball staff.

After a long and tedious (and rather embarrassing) fight he finally proves victorious!
... though there's still another one waiting =P

Creeper and Mauin your pictures are all so lovely! Creeper, that mod sounds like a nightmare. Call me a sissy but those Draugr Deathlords are a headache just the way they are! They seem to get harder after level 40 :'(!

Ok, I couldn't help myself I took these adorable ones today:

"Um, do you mind?"

Thanks, Dohvakiin.

The only thing I can't stand about Draugr Deathlords is their use of the Disarm shout. There's been more than one occasion where I've punched them to death because I lost my last weapon.
Well, then there are the Death Overlords and the Deathlords that use Ebony Bows/Arrows. Their Unrelenting Force is a right pain in the back end. There's nothing quite like being sent flying off a cliff *glares at Arcwind Point*.

I've got more Dark Brotherhood/random murder screenshots:

philfredobob - Heh, I roleplay him as someone who's most of the time a selfish jerk so looking smug fits him XD.
Dohvakiin2012 - Yeah, I still don't know whether I love or hate this mod. Bleak Falls Barrow has never been so hard since 6 out of 10 times it spawned a Deathlord who spammed Disarm shout -_-. And the funny thing was that the actual dungeon boss was easy compared to them :D.
Mauin - Haha at the bounties. I bet all of us has gone rampaging at one point XD.
Frost Mage - It's a Battlemage armor from Omegared99's Armor Compilation mod.
