'A trader of rumours with a Khajiit trained successor', I would assume, is Hulda, (Ysolda being the mentioned successor)

You've given provided a pretty nice clue yourselves.
It is a certain group of NPCs - that much has been established. Now a hint from me: the fact that we are talking about a group of NPCs does not necessarily mean that they all hang out in one spot.
Also, the line in question does indeed describe Hulda, as MadAndyD correctly pointed out.

All the people in the riddle are quest-givers; you should focus on what kind of quest they give. And then the answer will become evident.

Daedric quest givers?

No, that's not them (after all, they've been named already).

Misc quest givers? nonessential NPC's

Warmer. They do fall under this category.

Most excellent riddle! Loved the obscurity of it. I don't usually do the wood chopping quests I figure they can chop their damn wood. Slainte'!

I could post the reasoning behind each line, but I suppose that now it's become evident anyway.
