Actually it's based loosely on the fan art, but rather my experience while researching it all >_>
Looked into the group of friends which led me to the thalmor agent, later revised the quest and came across Jyrik's staff.. strange how logic works^_^ but by the time I got to revising I already submitted my first real answer.
But I have an itch saying it has something to do with Forbidden Legend.. so many things fit.
Edit: I'm a weird one, but often one can find truth once they stop fighting it
