Actually, as far as I recall, the rules of the Trivia threads have always specified that you can't base your riddles on mods (just the game plus official DLCs). At least, so it used to be in the Oblivion Trivia thread.

I can only guess at exploding birds being hargravens since they cast fire balls, magic anomalys aren't birds alto they explode... So Illia is out to stop a hargraven of sorts... Although it could be melky cuz she lives in a den rather than a tower like Illia... So melka, final answer...
