I love this! There are hundreds of action shots, portraits and landscapes on this thread, but only few pictures like this: mundane things seen in a new and interesting way. Nice.

Interesting. That Wolf looks fluffier and less greasy than your standard Wolf. Almost Fox-like.

^That's some beautiful pictures! The panoramic landscapes are spectacular, but I think my personal favourites are the waterfall near Honningbrew Meadery as far as aesthetics go and the mammoth skeleton with the human(oid) skeleton inside for curiosity - I thought mammoths were supposed to be herbivores, so how did that end up in there?

Riverwood, actually. No other merchant store has that unique curved sign over the door like the Riverwood Trader. (Yeah, I know that's a sign I've spent far too much time playing this game. *sigh*)

Anyway, pretty pictures and a nice cast of characters! Silne is beautiful, whereas Serion looks seriously badass on the Thalmor pic with that scar and warpaint combo. The Misty Mountains would have been an instant desktop without the crosshair. Keep 'em coming!

I know, I know. The first step is admitting you have a problem.

How I envy not being able to take pictures such as these...

You could try the method of taking a photo of your tv screen. You can actually get some really good looking ones if you get the lighting right to eliminate glare, interference lines etc.

I guess I could give it a try sometime! I'm just looking forward to getting my PC sometime and joining this topic.

Back in the old days of tube-type TV sets, the best way to photograph a screen was with an SLR camera on a tripod, the aperture closed to the highest f-stop and a 1-second exposure on the shutter. The tight f-stop gave you depth-of-focus to keep all of the curved screen sharp, and the long shutter time meant the electron gun gave you a good 30 or so sweeps of the full screen to burn that image onto film.
