Hmm...

First stanza is maybe Nazir? Sand = the deserts of Hammerfell and butter cause I could always find him in the dining room of the sanctuary.

Second stanza is maybe Babette? The fire's embrace = vampires are weak to fire, a chisel for magic = her alchemy skills. A life so tragic = her being turned as a child?

Third stanza is maybe Astrid? She lived with honor until she betrayed the DB. Not everlasting, you kill her yourself?

So all told the riddle is about the DB members not counting the player who survive the Penitus Oculatus assault?

Also I am new to the forums. What's the rule of Azuarc?

I can't make this entirely fit, but maybe Alchemy trainers? Babette's been mentioned and confirmed as relevant, I guess? The second stanza has something to do with Helgi=Lami also lives in Morthal, Arcadia... I guess with her constand diagnoses, she's a reminder that we all have to die eventually?
...This guess is really weak.
Does the answer have something to do with Alchemy, at least?

Going with the idea it's children, this could point towards Babette, since she's the only child who isn't honorable? Well, her and Aventus Aretino... Um.
And then the third line could refer to how children eventually grow up.

I think I need some sleep.

EDIT: There were two versions of this riddle. I accidentally posted the earlier one rather than the later, this has now been rectified.
I'm not sure this riddle is specific enough, so I might give hints later.
