I love Mammoth Hunting, especially that you can see Dragonsreach in the background:)

Oh, believe me... I know.

Anyway... I haven't been playing Skyrim much, but I do have a few shots. Please excuse the watermark I've added in the corner. I've had a few too many people stealing my images for my liking (I actually spotted one of my old images on some sort of Skyrim confessions blog). It's getting a little annoying.

I really like the last one!

So, created a new Dead is Dead character Ves because I wanted a DiD character who would focus on the Dragonborn DLC. The way I'm rping Kael he just wouldn't care.
Ves is an alcoholic imperial who already got in some trouble after taking a few too ales:
Punch the bard
Well that went a bit too far
.... [&@%!]
"Hey guys, I broke out of my cell since I'm starving. Can I have something to eat?"
Mmm... pie."
They really didn't give a damn since her bounty was so small (she still couldn't afford to pay it though).

Also have some Serana stupidity. Her face was stuck like this:
"Does that expression mean you are happy to see me?"
"Okay what IS IT?"
"...you are starting to annoy me."

Thank you, Aarah. :) I really like that last shot (is it Aarah and Marcurio?).

Here are some shots I'd like to call "Bandits, bandits, bandits!" In the last picture, you can't see Sylmirie's face but we all know how lovely she is anyway. :P

Great pics Mauin :D I still find the Dracolich to be a favorite of mine in terms of dragon mods. Tis a shame so few pictures exist of these fine foes :(

Whenever I try to use the free camera, my character disappears. Any advice, photographers? I'm an Xbox player hopping on his new PC :) Here are some shots I threw out while playing my new character, though.

Kael Stormwatch, the young Altmer with the dream of bridging his race with the others and help redefine the high elf image, started his journey in Skyrim, where the most help was needed. There was a situation with a headsman, a dragon demi-god and some embarrassing vocal pitch, but Kael found himself in Riverwood. The response from the locals to his presence has been all over the place. One such Nord came swaggering up to Kael as he was studying and enjoying the morning air, sat down beside him, eyed him down, and asked with a slur, "Do you need something?..... Why are you here?....Can I help you?" Kael decided to study elsewhere.

"Ahem... I was sitting here first.. You're not making any sense."

A few days into his adventures, and Kael has done some decent favors for local Nords. And by favors, I mean that Kael slaughtered roves of bandits to recover lost items of significant value. But this place is foreign to him, and he is foreign to it, and it is not hesitant to remind him of this fact. The fires offer him comfort from the northern cold, but he misses the comforts of home in the Isles. Elven wine and elegant feasts in the Stormwatch home would never even be compared to... "Surely I have a clean mug lying around here somewhere!" *in a mocking tone* This will be harder than he expected.

Crude structures, conversations, and peoples are wearing on Kael.

His adventures are inspiring in him an appreciation for the Nords, though. Never in his wildest imaginations would he have pictured a simple, unarmed farmer defeating three attackers on the open road. But apparently the harsh north of Tamriel produces such a breed.

I saw the commotion, ran over to help, and hesitated on who needed it most.

I apologize if I included more context to the photos than is the norm on the thread. I just felt each photo was more telling a story than a moment. Let me know if these kinds of posts are more appropriate elsewhere. I'd still appreciate your advice though!

No, keep going. Context adds an unique touch to the pics. Also, I too have an altmer called Kael so it's nice to hear what his namesake is doing .

They are coming to take you away
"Hmm, I think we took a wrong turn somewhere."
Dukaan
Pretty colors

Epic battle (actually not so epic since Curalmil one-shotted me)
I don't know what to say about this pic, I just like it for some reason =P

"What... WHAT?"
Their boyband was doing great but Morokei never liked the photoshoots
These Skyrim horses...

Stupid Dragon
Btw, he then rolled down the mountain and she couldn't find his body anywhere so goodbye Dragon soul.

I found this moment interesting. The Redguards are probably non-too-fond of Altmer at the moment. And this Redguard approached Kael when his face was covered. He kept it that way. He didn't like to come off rude, but he didn't want to start a scene by possibly upsetting this man.

Does anyone have any suggested graphic mods for lazy modders like me? Pretty much, if it doesn't use NMM, I'm not interested. (I don't trust myself with files) I'd like higher saturation and much darker darks. This overcast scene is a bit pale, even for an overcast scene. Any recommendations?

i5 4570k and GTX 670 4G

Sudden feeling of inadequacy aside (Intel Pentium 2.9GHz and GTX 580 1.5GB)... Most texture mods out there can be installed using NMM. You might just want to search through models/textures to see what appeals to you. But I will post links to some of the more popular ones/ones that I use:

Hidden:
Skyrim HD 2k Textures - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/607/?
aMidianBorn Book of Silence - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/24909/?
You might want to check out more of Cabal's files. The old versions are generally darker than vanilla, though he is going more vanilla styled with his current versions.
Ruins Clutter Improved - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/14227/?
Ultimate HD Fire Effects - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/28642/?
Bellyaches HD Dragon Replacer Pack - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29631/?
Detailed Rugs - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29608/?
Jewels of the Nord - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/27038/?
Hybrids HD Plants and Herbs Retexture - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1546/?
HQ Snow Texture - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/743/?
Static Mesh Improvement Mod - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/8655/?
Climates of Tamriel - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/17802/?
Enhanced Blood Textures - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60/?
Bellyaches Animal and Creature Pack - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/3621/?
Realistic Water Two - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/41076/?
Serious HD Retexture Skyrim - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/2146/?

Those are all ones I use. Mostly retextures. The only lighting mod I use is Climates of Tamriel. Haven't tried any other, but they do exist (might want to check out Realistic Lighting and Enhanced Lights and FX).

If you're willing to use an ENB, you might want to try out Ultimate Lighting Overhaul Plus (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/38982/?). It can make things appear more saturated. I generally use the grim version, though I honestly prefer my modified Bleak ENB since it makes things so... Well... Bleak. Sigh. Like this.

Eh. To be honest, I've added my own personal modifications to every mod that it's hard for me to remember what is what. I can't really provide any more suggestions than what I've given. Just take the time to browse the Nexus and see what you like.

First of all, I meant to say GTX 760... My bad.

Second of all, I settled on some mods that I am very happy with. When the hard drive I ordered comes in, I'll have space again to play with some more textures and meshes. Enhanced Lighting and FX and Skyrim Flora Overhaul are definitely my favorites. I love needing a torch or light as I explore these dank, dark caves. The Sound of Skyrim ambient noise actually makes me paranoid in these dungeons that I've been in more times than I can count. Gotta love modding!

Kael Stormwatch, rummaging for potions in the dark beneath Helgen.
Exploring Embershard Mine in order to get himself on his financial feet by mining ore for Alvor in town. It was occupied.
Selling the items that we found in the mine was far more profitable than he anticipated. And can I get an "Ooh aah" for candle smoke?
"Everybody get back!" "Wha... What's it doing to me!?"
