The red moon is from Hircine's Daedric quest.
As for having a weapon drawn on horseback, it's from a patch (or DLC). Whichever one it was I can't remember.

I think Dawnguard added mounted combat.

On topic: I've been gone for a while, but here I am with a few shots from the past couple of days to share. Enjoy!

Dawnstar Sunset
On the Prowl My new and improved Khajiit assassin Zhalira. Mods featured in this shot are Khajiit Wild Eyes, Coverkhajiits, and Night Eye Overhaul (hence the washed out appearance).
Western Watchtower
Finally Relaxing

I think the patch/update just prior to Dawnguard's release added mounted combat. I do not have DG, but mounted combat is available to me.

Yeah, it was added in the patch before Dawnguard, not in the expansion itself.

Linkuya, your pictures are good but would be even better without the HUD (there should be hints on how to disable it in the thread Mauin linked to).
Blackbird, your picture looks like a watercolour painting, I like that. More please!

The Road to Riverwood
Visit Beautiful Whiterun
Don't mess with this Bosmer
The Gladiator (Gorr, from Interesting NPCs)
Alvor's successor (Hjoromir, another Interesting NPC)

I finally got around to installing Puppeteer Master at Mauin's suggestion, so here are a couple shots of my two new characters.

Murob gra-Bolak My orc warrior. She enjoys her alcohol quite a bit. I had such a hard time getting her to not look "pretty". The orc females are too feminine, IMO.
Kaida Selador My altmer mage. She's absolutely fascinated by fire and enjoys burning things. I might be visiting the face sculptor to fix her hair at some point.

Puppeteer Master is a great mod. There's just so many options though its overwhelming. Its still a lot of fun though. :)

Ah, you did it then! Congratulations, the bride looks gorgeous! As for the guest, I have a feeling I should know him but his name escapes me at the moment.

Blackbird and Jabberdave, glad you like it! Views like this are one reason why I've given up fast-travelling - so much jaw-dropping beauty wherever you go, don't want to miss any of it.

Thank you, Finn! It feels so different having another Altmer hanging around with her. In her previous incarnations, Sylmirie was married to Onmund. But Aicantar is much cuter. And to think all I had to do was watch a youtube video. And the guest's name is Ainethach. :)

I totes agree about fast traveling. I like walking around Skyrim because there's much more to do that way and it really feels like you're in the world.

Here are some of mine:

Sunrise from the balcony
Champion of Auri-El
In the chantry
View of Solitude from Odahviing
The College of Winterhold in the distance
This is what happned when I dropped every thing I could (I really like this one because it shows just how much stuff we're actually carrying and because you can pick out different things that my character is carrying.)
I knew the children of Skyrim were weird...
He's just sleeping...I promise

And to think that some people's characters lug around all that while wearing no more cloth than a handkerchief... I guess they stow it all in a subspace pocket accessed from the lining of their string tangas.

Lol. Of course, Finn, without my subspace pocket I cud never carry around 10 bear pelts, several sets of armour, 12 weapons and 50 potions.
Subspace pockets - when a rucksack just wont do.

Great pictures evry1.

I haven't felt very inspired lately, so here are a few shots from the past couple weeks.

Andari Selvayn My Dunmer spellsword

Spoiler:
Speaking with the Augur
Ancano's Defeat He had it coming...
Harbinger Arch-Mage Because you can never be the leader of too many factions!

And now for some scenery!

Autumn
Dibella As much as I've played Skyrim, I only just recently found this shrine to Dibella near Dawnstar.
Foggy in Falkreath
Goldenglow
Shepherd

EDIT: Well, since I'm still the most recent post, I guess I'll just add these three on.

Magic vs. Technology Magic wins every time. And yes, that attack hurt after I took this shot.
Mighty Are Fallen I was just screwing around with filters in my photo editor, and this was the result.
New Recruits The Dawnguard uses trolls, the Stormcloaks use giants.

Blackbird, I'm curious - who is the guy in ebony coming down the ramp from Castle Dour in your picture? (The backpack-wearing one in the middle is you, I suppose, and I know all the others except for the red-haired Nord in hide at the right margin.)

I think they were added by Skyrim Immersive Creatures, actually. Pretty decent mod. :)

Are you using any mods Linkuya? I never seen a speckled or red moon. Also, how have you got ur weapon drawn whilst on horseback? Probably mods again I suppose (glum at being on xbox).

Sorry for the late reply, but Mauin was right, the red moon is from a certain quest and the horseback battling is from the Dawngaurd DLC.

In other news, I haven't been playing a lot of Skyrim, so I haven't been taking a lot of screenshots either. Here are some shots back when I was originally messing around with the settings, seeing which combination was best.

Nothing special. Though my settings are low in these images, my optimal settings were medium-high, that's what I use now.

^The upper one is nice.

Some new ones, and some older ones which I forgot to post:

Making Money
(or "Hey Gorr, what about me watching you chop some wood for a change?")
Bilegulch Aerial
Bloodmoon Rising
(from my first misguided attempt to complete this quest; I sort of knew I didn't stand a chance against a Requiemified werewolf at level, what, 8 or something, but tried anyway. Ouch.)
Brittleshin Skylight
"Talos the unerring! Talos the unassailable!"
Eola
A talk with the Knight of Thorns
Two seasoned fighters having a drink
(Erevan and Gorr, both Interesting NPCs)
Brynjolf's recruit
Self portrait
Self portrait with hood
Self portrait 3
(after having my nose redone by Galathir; much better now)
Prayer Answered
