Ahhhh hello my fellow forum, tonight I have a selection of screenies for you to look at after reading this awful alliteration.

So as the Aurora shines on the marshes, the Ranger draws his sword.
The mist draws around him as he stands firm in the small wooden vessel.
A strong silhouette contrasts the Northern sky behind.
The first glimpse of the Ranger's face shows determination.

You probably thought that was going to build up to something epic, sorry to disappoint...
And now for something more light hearted.

Posing for the stars.
I would like to point out, that is ONE butterfly.
Pfff... you can keep your deer and your bears, I hunt butterflies.
Admiring the view.
He's regretting attacking the Ranger isn't he?

I'd forgotten how much I loved doing these in Oblivion and in Skyrim every screenshot automatically looks 100000x more epic and there's so much more STUFF going on in the world and its just so amazing and I want to play it forever....

I assume this is one of those times when you feel smart for buying a high-tech PC.

Finishers!

Being Forsworn and kind of a dick. Punishment: decapitation.

This reminds me of the Lion King.

Damn you, Heimskr!
Like, do you ever shut up?
How many times do I have to chop off your head for you to shut up??

Here's my character, but since I'm on Xbox, it doesn't exactly look as beautiful as it does for me  .

Got some more here.

See that wolf? Over there, no? Well I'm going to hit it.
I caught my follower looking at me, the torchlight is my character.
TORCH! YOU BETRAYED ME!
Dead Man's Chest.
Footstep.
Rage.
Counting on this one.
The game's blur effects makes it difficult to take screenshots, but sometimes it can work to your advantage, not so much here though.
Gangsta.
Stab.

I realise I just completely overdid the use of single word titles but its early and my creativity is at a low ebb.

I ought to turn my graphics up now (I always play on medium the first time)...but regardless!

This, my friends, is Lenicus Sarillius, and he likes fire.
This is him freeing my arch-nemsis, Arvel the Swift...
...and this is my reunion with Arvel the Swift. (Try to steal my name, will you!)
This is Lenicus discovering the word wall of the ancient Nords.
This was my great escape.
This was Helgen once.
And this is Riverwood.

Classic. And now I'm sure that Skyrim for consoles runs at about High, since it looks better than that :P .

Duh. :P PC graphics will tend to outrun consoles, however, if your PC is capable. My laptop can do pretty high graphics, but for some bizarre reason, even after tweaking them so, my game just looks a little less than stellar. I'll have to get someone more technical than me to check it out one day.

Then again, graphics are nice, but they're not everything to me. I enjoy games for the story. Shocking...I know.

No way! You can't play games for the story! You have to say you're superior for owning a PC that can run it on Ultra!

It's a novice hood with a magicka bonus - got it in Helgen off a fallen Stormcloak mage. So. Useful.

Nothing special, but I figured they'd go to waste if I just deleted them.

I went on quite the rampage yesterday. Assaulted a Thalmor base, a necromancer cave and a Blackblood Marauder hideout. Sadly my dog which I found early on in the game died during the assault on the Thalmor fort. He fought and died bravely (chewing on a Thalmor leg). I was also ambushed by a thief on my way back to Solitude.

I have just started playing Skyrim (on low, but the graphics are still living up to my expectations), and I will most certainly be making screenshots. :)
Here is my character (a female Orc Image) just out of the cavern Helgen, contemplating the wide range of choices that the Skyrim wilderness presents to her.

And here is the Bleak Falls Barrow, where I was amazed by the wind blowing the snow along the staircase. It had just the same atmosphere I often experience while walking a bridge across the Neva river on an early windy winter morning.

That was a great dungeon.

So I spent like an hour yesterday trying to capture the exact moment at which the head of an NPC leaves its neck. This is the best shot I managed. It's rather beautiful in its own gory way.

Also this. I don't know which moon that is but WHY IS IT ENTIRELY BLACK.

I am still at the beginning of the game, off to clear out a Falmer cave for the Companions. :P
"You cannot trap me, though you try,
in your cobwebs crazy."

When the first Falmer emerged, I thought to myself, 'Ah, here comes ol' Gollum...' I won't be surprised if the next thing that happens will be my being captured by some Elves and escaping in a wine barrel.
