Oh, he looks tough, Corty!

I can't remember what screenshots I ever posted here versus just uploaded on Steam, but here's a few:
The meditations
The lovable, huggable Neloth
He definitely doesn't see you there
My character Lenicus sitting with his steward (I love this picture because they actually look like friends!)
Just a picture of my pack mule
Probably my favorite screenshot, ever, of Eltrys
The Jarl with a lot on his mind
Dusk and guard duty
Surprise!
And this one - which needs a little explanation. I use the Dragon Combat Overhaul mod (which is epic), so my dragon fights are pretty insane, and they don't automatically land on the ground unless you damage the wings enough. This means you can kill them mid-flight. It just so happened that that's precisely what happened here, and when I ran over the hill to find him, he had landed perfectly cradled in the tree. I think it's hilarious, so...10 style points for me!

Same here... I namely want it for the mods to make things more fresh and realistic while challenging

Still, I like alot of images people post up here in this thread^_^

Haha, thanks! I figure I could make the graphics go up even more, but I never liked the bright and colored look of a lot of those ENBs and stuff, and honestly I like it much more where my Skyrim is more dark and realistic feeling. Honestly, the best thing about the PC is having a mod for footprints - nothing is cooler than turning around to see your footprints behind you, reminding you where you've been. (You can see them in the Lydia screenshot. The best part is that all animals and people and monsters leave them, so it really makes the world come alive!)

Gods damn it. Photobucket. Again.
I'll have to look on Steam. Are they there, Avron? The reason I'm asking is because, no matter what I do, images on Photobucket just won't load. I can't view them there. Steam itself is slow, but at least the images there load.

I do remember the footprints mod. Used it for a while (along with mods like Wet and Cold, which I removed because of those irritating invisible NPCs), then deleted it along with most of the other scripted mods I was using when I reduced my load order from the 120 it was at down to the 40-50 it's at now.

Anyway, I have a couple of screenshots lying around. Maybe three. If I can't find the time to play later, I'll upload them without taking any new ones. I don't have the time right now.

I use Photobucket because linking through Steam is slow for me. ;) I think half of them are on Steam, but I just discovered a ton of screenshots I never uploaded, so I may have to go through and add some more.

Yes, I understand that. Steam is slow (it was better before they started changing their layout), but I can still view images there. Photobucket gets stuck in an infinite load. The images just won't show up no matter what browser I use, and no matter how long I wait. Everything else loads, but the images don't. It's been like that since they changed their layout (funny how that always seems to happen). I can't view my own images on there anymore. That's what forced me to switch to Imgur, which seems to have a faster upload than Photobucket ever did (among other things). I don't know what they did, but they wrecked Photobucket when they changed the layout.

I'll have to check your Steam. The puppy is sleeping, so I have some time.

My three shots:
Soldier's Bane
Altmer
Mage

Attempt #2 because the page wouldn't load.

Edit:
What mods are you using to get that appearance, Avron?
Also, my PC is suddenly feeling woefully inferior. Which it is, to be honest. At 3 years old, it's ready to be replaced. It's outdated. My father agrees, though I doubt I'll be replacing this any time soon.

Do you mean just in general with the environment? I only use a few mods:
Climates of Tamriel
Enhanced Lights and FX
Pure Waters
Dynavision

I tried a ton of different ENBs, but decided this mix is exactly how I like my Skyrim. Plus, Climates of Tamriel has some extra weather-related features, so it goes nicely.

As for how my characters look, I typically use XCE and maybe one armor texture pack, but nothing else there was tweaked. I don't like those super-pretty NPC nonsense mods.

Super-pretty? More like super fake. They all look like barbie dolls, and that's not a good thing. Some body mods are rather frightening, too. Like CHSBHC or ADEC. And a lot of animation mods, now that I think about it. They cannot get any more exaggerated or fake looking.

Anyway, thanks for sharing which mods you use. The only one I have is COT 3.1. I haven't tried any of the others, though I was thinking of switching from WATER to Pure Waters. It would have to wait until all my current characters are done, though. I don't want to wreck their saves again.

Are you using any flora mods, Avron? I was looking at your Rift shot and thinking I don't recall the trees looking like that. Or the grass.
I once tried SFO, but it killed my PC. In certain locations, anyway. It was still above 30fps in most places.

On the plus side, there are two stronger GPU's I could use downstairs... If they fit in my PC. I think one is a GTX 560 1GB. I wonder if that would make much of a difference? I doubt it. The dual-core is too old. I really don't feel like switching out the motherboard and reinstalling all my programs/games, either.

Er... I'll get some shots later. I'm still on puppy watching duty and probably shouldn't be leaving her alone for too long.

Amen to that. Imgur is the only service I use.
RE ""pretty"" NPCs: Skyrim has a really bad reputation for the modded skimpy armors with totally lorebreaking bodytypes and NPCs and characters that look like they're scared to smear their mascara or break a nail don't help that stigma out at all. I think those modders are kind of missing the point of the game, but just like in the sims community, it's not anyone's place to tell someone else how they play their game and I follow that philosophy with TES as well.

In other, more exciting news, I have a couple photos for you guys!

Fleeing the Flames
I think the Daedric armor needs a little pauldron work done.
Tentacles
Hm. Alright. I'll use this.
Varyn
Great... So if I just had a better background, this would make for an epic shot.
Burning Draugr

I found that somebody had posted the solution for those irritating black lines on the Nexus. Evidently, it's an issue with antialiasing. You have to set it to either 4 or 2 to avoid the lines. I'm not sacrificing my nice, smooth edges, so I'm keeping the lines.

Thanks. I managed to mimic the pose again, but this time Varyn has a background of fire and sky. Taken during the battle with Mirmulnir and with an ENB enabled just for the heck of it. I'll be posting it later along with my other shots, but this time, I'm trying to edit those black lines out of it. It's working fairly well so far, but I'll have to do some smudging with GIMP to smooth it out further.

Edit:
But I will post these right now...

Before shot. You see the black lines? Yeah, they're ugly. I don't like 'em. That means this shot needs work. It'll be the first time I've actually bothered to edit a shot before uploading it, excluding shots that contained nudity.
After shot. No more black lines. Painted the darker lines over in Paint.NET and fixed the lower black bar before switching to GIMP, where I smudged the remaining blockiness away.

The actual shot will be uploaded later, along with all the other shots I have. I'm currently experimenting with ENBs.

I don't recall Marcurio looking that dark. Did you darken him at all?

Shots:
Crouching Mage
Mirmulnir
The Tower
Lunge
Vampire's Bane
The Soul
Varyn I
The Mechadon
Two Bears
Disintegration
Varyn II
Drake

The last shot had more black lines, so I edited them out as well. I think I'm going to have to go through all of my old screenshots to fix them.
