Don't worry, perylous...I have been annoyed at the fact that neither of my characters can summon Durhneviir. W. T. F. I point them to the ground to the air it doesn't matter he still doesn't come. He was a waste of space anyway.

Durnehviir is worthless in my game. I summoned him to help me fight off like 20 Imperial soldiers in one of the warzones (Warzones mod), and they kicked his butt.

Off-topicness aside, here are a few shots I've taken the past couple days. They aren't the best, but I've just been having trouble getting anything good lately. :|

In the lion's den (Ulfric reminds me of a lion for some reason)
Aftermath (Dawn following the battle for Whiterun)
Snowy aurora (Yes, another aurora shot)
Imperial dogs run in packs (Anika vs. five Imperial soldiers in a warzone)
Kill the dwagon! (As Elmer Fudd would say)

EDIT: BTW, you have to make sure there's plenty of open space for Durnehviir to appear. Otherwise, it doesn't work. He is a dragon, after all. They aren't exactly small. ;)

"Enthir, you're trashed again!"

This is exactly why Tolfdir regretted volunteering to be the RA for the Hall of Attainment.

Today's Shots:
The Beast Unleashed
On the Prowl
Attacking the Guards
Tripping Out (Note: that's actually the Whiterun market. I was just messing around with Skyhighrim. Didn't keep it, but it was good for a short blast of fun.)
Drunk Fighting (Also the result of Skyhighrim.)
And now Vulom is modeling something again. This time, it's the Hunting Grounds Outfit. And something tells me I'm going to be creating a character specifically for that armor.

Just when I'd almost forgotten how creepy Vulom is...

Anyway, here are my shots from yesterday/today:

Khajiit vs. cave bear (The khajiit won, amazingly enough)
Teeth and claws
Dragon Bridge approach (I don't know why I'm so obsessed with that bridge)
Meditation (Elder dragons are no match for the Greybeards)
Forsworn yoga (...Yeah, I have no idea, but it makes me chuckle every time I look at it)
Makeover (Anika got one! I like this version of her more)

Right click the image, then click "Copy Image URL." Then when you go to post something, click the "Img" tag, and put the url in it.

You might want to put the image in a spoiler though.

You can do it that way, but I think it uses more of the forum's bandwidth than posting a link. To post a link to an image, use "link address" or descriptive text.

Goodness, everyone has such awesome pictures! I'm loving all the variety going around, too. Its nice to see how everyone dresses up/plays their characters.

-Perylous, "Forsworn Yoga" is hilarious. Let's all do the triangle pose yea!

Ok, so I have a couple of my Bosmer. She's getting spanked through Skyrim...literally. I don't recall my other two characters having this hard a time fighting things but it could just be that I suck at pointing a bow. Anyway:

Spoiler:

Legendary Maw
Mechanical Foe
Tempest Drake
Fighting the Storm
Experimental Bosmer Character (for use with the Hunting Grounds Outfit): Felzii, meaning Feral Spirit.
Perfection
Imperfection No, really. I'm not satisfied with her appearance and I've edited her three times since this shot was taken. I sense a restart.
The Army
The Unexpected Legionnaire
My first custom NPC... Would actually be Verina's husband if it weren't for the phantom follower bug I'm having. And the fact that I can't get warpaint to show up on my custom NPC's.

Mauin, when am I supposed to start encountering the dragons added by Deadly Dragons? Do they only appear at word walls?

Not much in the way of screenshots today...

Resurrection (possible spoiler)
Sahloknir is not amused (possible spoiler)

You usually start encountering them when you start encountering Dragons.
If you're using Deadly Dragons on an older save, clearing all the Word Walls and waiting inside for a month (or however long your cell respawn time is set to) might spawn some. They also appear in the vanilla random encounters system. They've been added to the leveled lists so they should spawn along side the vanilla Dragons. It just might take a while.

You can also use the Deadly Dragons assault system, which is different than the vanilla random encounters. Set the timer for the number of in-game hours that must pass before you get an assault. I'd recommend 12 hours or more, otherwise you'll be overwhelmed (don't set the timer to one hour. That's just insane). Make sure you select the types of assaults you want in the menu; if you only want single Dragons, be sure to select that one and only that one. If you're crazy (or brave), you can select two or three Dragon assaults. Just watch out if you do that because I've had situations where the battle took long enough and my assault timer was set low enough that more groups of Dragons spawned before I could kill the first. I wound up fighting over 10 Dragons at once.

The Dragon's should still appear even if you disable the assault system. It'll just take some luck and some time for one to appear.

Sort of on topic:
I'll get some shots later. I literally just woke up 10 minutes ago.

The first time I saw that bridge, I had just spent all night creeping through Forsworn territory. The Karth was fogged in, and that head loomed suddenly out of the fog. "Great," I thought, "I've found their bloody capital!"

Oh, I have the assaults down already. I have mine set to 48 hours plus/minus six hours. I...made the mistake of initially setting it to an hour when I first installed DD (forgetting that it was based on in-game time). I changed that in a hurry. I did install this on an old save, but I changed the respawn time to one hour and waited inside. Maybe I'll visit some word walls today.

On a somewhat related note, I only realized after I fought Sahloknir last night that he was my first ancient dragon. No wonder he was so tough.

Unless Elder Dragons and Ancient Dragons have magically switched skins, I think the Sahloknir in your shots was an Elder.
Ancient's are a tad stronger. And red. A little dull if you're not using a mod like Bellyaches HD Dragon replacer, but red. Ah, heck, they're still a little dull even with Bellyaches Dragon pack. So I upped the saturation and made their eyes green. Now they're perfect.

Apparently I'm picky when it comes to appearance of my Dragons. I suppose that's to be expected out of somebody who's be fascinated with them since she was a toddler.

Er, anyway, topic...
Today's shots:

Attempt #2 of Felzii (now known as Felzii Raan, or Feral Spirit Animal). I think this one is better than the first.
Bosmer in Helgen
Alduin's Wings
The Black Dragon
Dual-Wielding
Standing in Solitude
Felzii Raan
Battling the Giant
The Crossbow
Bolt in the Knee
The Fire of Bleakwind Basin
Running from Danger
The Green-Eyed Elf
The Green-Eyed Elf II (switched ENB)
Mudcrab
From Adventure
Battle in the Cave
Skeever Wolf
Approaching the Mammoths
Giant's Last Breath
Battle Ready

I guess you're right. He just looks more like the ancient dragon pictured on the wiki. They didn't pick a very good reference image for the elder dragon. He doesn't look bronze at all. And I still haven't encountered any of the new dragons. I'd guess that DD isn't working properly, except the assaults are happening and dragons are definitely tougher. So I don't know what's going on. Maybe I should try clearing (or reclearing) all the word walls. :|

Anyway... My two puny shots from yesterday. I'll probably add more later.

Hunter of dragons (Anika really needs more practice with her bow)
Labyrinthian

Are you sure you didn't install the Loremonger edition of Deadly Dragons? That would make the existing Dragons tougher, but it wouldn't add any new ones. I'd try reinstalling to make sure you've got the regular Deadly Dragons installed. Otherwise you might not see any new ones. They're all over the place for me.

Er... I'll get some shots later. Might use an ENB again, but I don't know yet.

That's the version I had originally that wasn't working properly. I kept getting assault messages, but no dragons. So I installed the normal version. And it's working. The nether dragon that spawned at Bonestrewn Crest earlier wiped the floor with me five times. Might have to tone down the difficulty of the dragons. :|

EDIT: Finally beat him. That breath weapon is vicious. Luckily, he got distracted by some Stormcloak soldiers nearby. :D

Verina got slaughtered by Nether Dragons rather frequently, I'll admit. I don't know what that breath attack is, but it's powerful. I had a high magic resistance combined with a high amount of health and those Nether Dragons were still cutting me down like nothing. And I was playing with the difficulty settings for Deadly Dragons on vanilla. Ugh.

Spectral Dragons and Mechadons are worse. Spectral Dragons and Mechadons summon allies, and they both do insane amounts of damage. They pretty much one-shotted Verina when she was in her level 50-60's.

Anyway... Topic.
Today's shots:

Through the Flames
Creeping Forward
"Today feels like a good day to climb the Throat of the World."
The Bone Dragon
Charging
Ancient Mist
Verina's Wedding

Excellent shots as always, Mauin. Your "Sahloknir the wyrm" shot is almost identical to my "Resurrection" shot. :D

I'll hopefully have some shots to post later, though I haven't been playing much the past couple days, so we'll see. Trying not to get bored with the game before DB comes out.
