I got the screencaps working in Skyrim and then my good guy took care of the dwemer ruins in Markarth. My new 3-man party is working out pretty well so far.

More Dragonborn stuff:

Spoiler:
I taught Mogrul the importance of not being stupid enough to try to extort the leader of the Dark Brotherhood, although I don't imagine he's going to be able to put that lesson into practice any time soon.

When I hear Miranda, I think Serenity. ;)

I went dragon-hunting today to test Dragon Combat Overhaul and boy, do those fights get epic with this mod. :D Usually when I'm around lev20 and have a primarily ranged character, I have no problem at all bringing them down. And now I really have to work for each kill. Not using any summons is making things interesting as well. I have to do a lot of running and try to lure the dragon towards people or creatures that may attack it and help me. Fun! :)

I continued with Dawnguard (Vampires) after the story

Spoiler:
Oh my gosh, the amount of frustration I had, I was given the task of acting as a Dawnguard and I needed to kill somebody in Riften then plant a note. I go there, some guy ran up to me and said "You call yourself a Wizard? I challenge you!" I decline and walk away, he starts attacking me so Serana and Gamir kill him, now I failed all the optional bonus tasks and must reload.
After reloading I do the job successfully and get a new assignment, back in Riften. I go back to Riften (fast travel) and guess where I end up? 10 feet under the town with the guards running above me. (=_=)" Yes, Playstation 3.

Serana tries to join the Greybeards, Fram is reminded why he doesn't care for wizards, and it is again demonstrated that trolls know nothing about gratitude:

I downloaded a lighting and combat overhaul mod for my game, so Soljund's Sinkhole was dark and creepy, just the way I like it. The enemies were harder than normal which was refreshing. Felina and Onmund had their booties spanked by the Draugr boss...it was pathetic at one point when Onmund cast invisibility and ran down the corridor with Felina in tow. Like a thriller type movie, they hid from the boss but he sniffed them out when she summoned an atronach.

But she only died once got knocked out when she backed up against a moonstone vein. Sithis watched over them though and the magic prevailed. Now I'm hooked on Skyrim again that there's a cat and mouse chase possibility with every battle...ie...better fighting enemies that actually think.

^This is exactly why I've been playing so much lately - SkyRe and more interesting combat. :)

I replayed some of the stuff I did with S'Kirra before (the quests around Falkreath), I'm about to kill the dragon at Ancient's Ascent (say that quick five times) and solve a vampire problem for a certain Falkreath resident. And then I can finally join the Legion and see what the Civil War Overhaul is all about.

Took down both a Blood Dragon and a regular dragon at the Shrine of Peryite. I felt like I was protecting Kesh the Clean, which was pretty neat. There was plenty of cover to protect me from their icy Thu'ums, so it was rather easy. Not much else happened.

I created a new Nord man to test out some changes I made to the game. He started the main quest and Hermaeus Mora's Daedric quest. There's one mod in particular that I'm testing: Timing is Everything, or something like that. It's a mod that allows you to control when certain quests start. I got it to delay the start of Dragonborn (I don't like how the cultists come after us that early, so I set the start of Dragonborn to be after the completion of Dragonslayer. Oh, and I also have to be level 100 for it to start).

Other than that, I downloaded and tested the aMidianBorn Whiterun textures. Had to resize some of the textures, but I got it running. I'm still not sure if I like it or not.
To be honest, I think I prefer the vanilla textures in this case. I'll probably wind up deleting the textures and reinstalling all the old mods I had.

Fram buzzes the control tower in Falkreath, there is lollygagging in Valthume, and Serana is totes not a racist:

20th of First Seed, 4E 202 - Fram's Journal
21st of First Seed, 4E 202 - Serana's Diary
22nd of First Seed, 4E 202 - Fram's Journal

I am working on building a new character that I will use in the Roleplaying thread. Trying to figure out what is interesting to me.

I discovered my burning hatred of Aela. For Hircine's sake, turn around and hit the Draugr instead of staring at me! Man, Ansilvund is hard, especially when you're being followed by an abject moron. I'm so glad that was the last of her infernal totem hunts.

Have you ever met Lydia? Or any companion, for that matter?

I don't remember Farkas or Vilkas being that bad, at least not in any of my playthroughs. And I never used Lydia.

I got tired of Nazeem again. I remembered this is one of my two newer profiles, so I killed him.
Now to do it again.

In the name of embracing my lycanthropy, I ate a couple of people. I find it very odd that that aspect of the beast form power is treated so casually.

Fram gets his first look at Labyrinthian, Serana returns to Morthal, and everyone agrees that the only good bard is a dead bard:

24th of First Seed, 4E 202 - Fram's Journal
25th of First Seed, 4E 202 - Serana's Diary
26th of First Seed, 4E 202 - Fram's Journal

Serana and I desecrated the body of Alain Dufont. After his death, first I ate his heart in werewolf form, then she necromancied him to help beat someone else up. And we weren't even doing the mission where you're supposed to kill him; he was just in the way.

Unfortunately, today was one of those days.
"Uh... What do I have to do? Become Thane of Riften... Need 7000 more gold. Wonderful. Time to go grind out for some quests and whatnot."
Yep. A grinding day.
Started off in Aslivingrad Excavtion (again, don't think I spelled that right) in Eastmarch, got Transmute so that helped with grinding. Then did a bunch of monster slaying, errands, and three dragon kills to finish.
Tomorrow, I'm getting Dawnbreaker.

For the first time, it occurred to me to share some items when freeing a prisoner from the Thalmor. He did quite well in that fight.

I started up Skyrim again for the first time in a while. Prepping a new character to try out the Falskaar mod, which I've heard so much about.

Today I wandered around Solstheim, trying not to get killed by ash spawns, ash hoppers, and those crazy fire spriggans. I watched a psychotic wizard cast a flying spell. unfortunately the poor guy didn't know a landing spell. I eventually made it to a temple, where Lydia, this crazy axe chick I just met, and I have managed to fight our way through the first level despite constant ambushes and boobie traps. I almost have enough money to buy that quaint little cottage in White Run.
