^If the mods are Realistic Needs and Diseases, and Frostfall, you just need to read the descriptions, they will tell you how to avoid death. Unless you mean that you were doing everyting right (dressing warmly, eating and drinking, warming up near a fire, not falling into freezing water, remembering about a cloak), and the mods glitched and still killed you?

With my bad guy, I took out my last two marks for the Dark Brotherhood and turned in a few quests in with the thieves' guild in Riften on my way back to the sanctuary. The next quest sent me to Whiterun, so I decided to take care of that on the way. I took care of the job in the Honningbrew meadery and swiped everything of value on the way back out. I finally made it back to the Dark Brotherhood sanctuary and picked up the next job. I left my bad guy en route to Markarth to pick up the contract.

Just beat the Main Quest for the second time. Not sure if I'll go for a third one.

Now to finish off the Civil War missions.

The cart that brings you to Helgen? If yes, it's something weird, if you mean the cart from one city to another, I've read about some bug that messes up all forms of fast travel, read the Nexus forums for answers.

[edit:] New, mostly debugged version of Civil War Overhaul just came out, so I need to restart both S'Kirra and Marius. :? Still, I haven't gotten very far with either of them, so I don't really mind. From what I've heard about that mod, it's worth it.

My Bosmer vampire paid a visit to Mother at Dawnstar and helped Cicero to attain a whole new level of creepiness by giving him nice glowing eyes and a pair of fangs, then went on to complete her friendly takeover of the College of Winterhold. Those Psijics are either pretty blind or have a pretty mean sense of humour.

That done I returned to Sylvaine Emrys and continued her exploration of Solstheim, culminating in her defeat of Miraak. With that out of the way, it's time to talk to that annoying other Breton in Riverwood and investigate the Thalmor-dragon-connection.

I did another session on my bad guy. She joined up with the Dawnguard with an eye to using them to find the Vampires, and after rescuing Serana, she's sure she's making the correct choice.

I made an Imperial bandit named Lokka yesterday. Her backstory is that she's a bandit from Cyrodiil that escaped Horn Cave then found her way to Skyrim while dressed as a regular citizen. Now that she's there, she's trying to learn how to be a silversmith so she can be a rich merchant much like the people she attacked in her bandit days. So far she's been gathering crafting supplies and trying to find her place in the world, with some bandit camp and Forsworn camp clearing mixed in. She spent four days in a cleared Forsworn camp until she went to Karthwasten to help the miners deal with some mercenaries [then mine all their veins]. After a couple of days, she stumbled upon a Orcish stronghold and left with a follower she eventually married.

Sylvaine and company are currently travelling west from Windhelm and got somewhat distracted. They had cleared Silverdrift Lair to get the word of power and were going to head for Shearpoint next when they stopped at Nightgate Inn and met a punky Bosmer girl (that's Callen from Interesting NPCs to the initiated) who persuaded them to accompany her on a horker hunt. They brought their prey to bay west of Dawnstar, but apparently the story's far from over. I just lurve that mod.

Meanwhile, my valiant knight Sir Diesalot and his sidekick, Stenvar (referred to as "Sancho" by the player) started to clear Ansilvund and foil Lu'ah Al-Skaven's sinister plans, but were stopped by an expert level door and ran out of lockpicks. Such is life at level 6...

I married Brelyna Maryon. She glitched after being kidnapped; she randomly equipped a longbow from somewhere, and would only walk backwards.

My family consisted of a moonwalking, bow carrying Brelyna, two adopted war orphans, and that one dog from Morthal, WHICH--poor thing--was always being talked down to by EVERYONE who walks by. "Bark bark!" "Stupid dog." The wife, the kids, the housecarl, the steward...They all hated that poor dog.

So I killed em all and started a new game.

Whoa...Felina you wicked girl. What would your father say about the way you treat people? Especially Marcurio.

Dimhollow Crypt: she got a brilliant idea to seal Marcurio and herself off from the master vampires by using a gate. But Marcurio lagged behind and Felina shut the gate, thus protecting herself and leaving him to fight the vampires and a thrall. Well...it was unplanned...but most of the situations she takes advantage of are such that way. Poor Marcurio lost his life and Felina never even set up their wedding date.

But I reloaded out of guilt. Just give me this one!

I downloaded and began Dragonborn. As a departure from my previous playing, I've been tackling it with a follower: the female Dark Brotherhood initiate (whom I've decided is named Miranda because seriously, she can't just not have a name).

Fram insults Elisif's sense of decorum, and Serana tries and fails to help the homeless giants on the Hjaalmarch tundra:

Dragonborn is harder than I was expecting. Miranda is acquitting herself pretty well so far.

Felina and Onmund saved the Moth Priest from vampires, then saved Meeko from a roaming bandit. Welcome to the family doggy. <3

I got tired of messing around on other characters, so I reloaded Vulom and went back to work. She completed the Bards College, became Thane of Solitude, did Laid to Rest, became Thane of Hjaalmarch, built Windstad Manor, completed Waking Nightmare, killed a Giant for the Jarl, became Thane of the Pale, built and organized Heljarchen Hall, and then finished by completing Pieces of the Past and raiding Dagon's shrine.

Will probably finish the Daedric quests tomorrow. Along with the Thane quests.

I wanted to set up my Dunmer guy up with a Nord (female).

So I arranged the mammoths tusk present, and the ceremony then waited for my spouse to appear! After a few hours of waiting, I concluded that she wasn't coming so I headed for Whiterun, but my spouse is nowhere to be seen! So back to Riften...

And what did I get from Maramel? "You spat in the face of love" WHAT?! I'm the one waiting for her damnit! Didn't you see me standing here for hours?!

Did some more Dragonborn.

Spoiler:
Found the letter from Glover. THE FEELS.

Also, it's embarrassing how much more competent Miranda seems than my own character (owing to the fact that Miranda can't die and all).

Today I shoved a dagger into a man's ribs, axed another chap in the face, clubbed another guy in the head, and drove a sword down yet another guy's throat. I saw another man, who I then shouted into the dirt before ripping off his clothes and eating him.

Oddly enough in my game right now I keep finding way too many gems all over the place in random loot, and my supply keeps replenishing. I have so much I don't have enough gold and silver to keep up, so I end up accumulating even more and more unused gems even after I sell most of them.

Everytime I see/hear the word Miranda I think about
Spoiler:

That comedy show on the BBC

I found the Blades armour for the first time during my 5th playthrough
Spoiler:
(how I didn't see the chest during Alduin's Wall I don't know)
Heavy and not very appealing, I defeated Alduin at the Throat of the World and I'm going back to the semi-final quest Touching the Sky for Dawnguard... Oh please don't remind me of all that running through portals, caverns, chaurus nests... *gag*

Miranda killed me a bunch of times due to that stupid magic lift. In future I'm just going to tell her to wait when I use it.
