BEHOLD. A total conversion mod for CKII, based on The Elder Scrolls!!!


I've plugged the base game already, but for those of you who aren't familiar with it, it's called Crusader Kings II. CKII is a medieval grand strategy game from the makers of Mount & Blade. Part Game of Thrones, part Total War, part The Sims, it focuses on the rise and fall of medieval dynasties. Rather than play as a single kingdom or faction, players are given control over a noble House, and tasked with seeing their family thrive and prosper, through warfare, marriage, business, diplomacy, or the assassin's dagger. Many levels of feudal society are modeled, allowing players to take the role of an impoverished Count, dreaming of better times, a scheming Duke, awash in riches plundered from the Holy Land, or even Emperor of half the known world, battling the brothers and cousins and third-nephews-twice-removed that would press their tenuous claims on his titles and seize his crown. It's got a steep learning curve and it can be daunting to new players, but it's the deepest and smartest strategy game on the market now - if you're the sort of gamer who prefers the rich gameplay of Morrowind to the empty flash of CoD, you should check it out!


Anyway, this mod promises a lot of stuff, dozens of religions, hundreds of provinces, vampires, Akavir, and the ability to conquer all of Tamriel as a Khajiit clan. I haven't installed it yet, so I can't vouch for it's completion, but it. Looks. AWESOME. Thoughts?
