Player Houses

This is something near and dear to me as a feature which I believe can blow other MMO's out of the water. The real answer to endgame I have always felt must be COMMUNITY. And player housing, and continual features that come along with it, are things that both bind and relate every player.

It speaks dear as a player of Star Wars Galaxies, this was huge, and players of all levels enjoyed it tremendously. Most of the massive planets you could visit, you could put a house there. Vanguard: Saga of Heroes did it very differently, but very well, and it was an epic journey to construct your house on this island you would sail out to, still in the same worldspace everybody goes to. In both games, players could spend entire weeks toward their house, and it was awesome.

This would add such great community to TES-O, and I am a strong believer, that (as well as good, organic, contesting PvP,) community accommodation is endgame.

What are your guys' thoughts on Player Houses in TES-O? Would it be a cool thing to fully customize? Hang out with friends? Guild hall uses? Game breaking? Don't care? Wouldn't matter? T0t4lly sw337? Discuss here!

I think they stated there would be no "player houses" in TES:O. Could be wrong, though.

Yeah but they should at least have some sort of stronghold where players can meet. If they didn't that's just disappointing but oh well.

Guilds or faction Strongholds will probably do double time as "houses" or some form of banks.
Player housing as we know it in TES will not be in the MMO.

Oh boy can't wait for the race for those guild names :lol:

A lot of strongholds for meet-and-greets I agree at LEAST would be a great thing to have.

Players need social accommodation for the love of meridia.
