Either way, Chaurus meat is interesting.. Think the Lion King's Timon and Pumba..except hundreds of times bigger.

So this just happened, I come home to slaughter a bandit out front of my house when I find a note that Aela has been kidnapped. I wolf up and charge off to knife point ridge. I get about a mile from my house and I get a notification saying Completed:Rescue Aela from Knifepoint Ridge. Just to be safe i head up to check it out and after munching on the bandits there is no Aela around so I head home. She's sleeping peacefully in bed. That's my girl!

I'd never get those, marriage is not for me, at least not in Skyrim.

I married Lydia instead (marrying Aela bugged my game and prevented me from getting the Totems); but I don't care for Hearthfire, so I can't say one way or another whether I've experienced that.

Just finished the Morthal/Dawnstar trek and still no snowy saber cats. You'd think I'd hunted them right out of existence.

To find sabre cats, I would reccomend looking around Winterhold. Personally, I barely ever run into sabre cats. But that area might be your best bet Huntershound.

Usually the northwest coast only holds horkers for me but yes I'll try to pull back up the hill. There are two guaranteed Snow Saber Cats just east of the Thalmor Embassy so maybe I'll have more luck around there. I've been holding back on my main from doing the DG stuff but once I get to that happy magical land lost to time I can track down the Vale cats.

@Skyrimplayer: I've already hunted Eastmarch and Winterhold dry, thank you though.

I'd like to join please. :D
Spoiler:
1) How did you earn the gift of lycanthropy?
Through Sinding, as I tore his flesh asunder.

2) Who is your favorite in-game werewolf?
Skjor, he was like a father to me.

3) How often do you use your gift?
Whenever I'm away from the cities.

4) What is your favorite prey to hunt?
Any Vigilant of Stendarr I encounter, their ignorance is their undoing. But they are short in supply, so Elk for when I stalk the tundra. Also mammoth for big game.

5) What are your feelings towards mortals?
If they don't get in my way, I won't tear their arms off. Simple, isn't it? :Twisted Evil:

6) How many vampires have you slain?
A fair amount, but will no doubt continue to increase.

7) What is your favorite part about being a werewolf?
Simply being one of Hircine's loyal hounds.

8 ) Do you utilize Hircine's gift through power of His ring?
Always, as a proud reminder that I hunt with his blessing.

9) How do you feel about the feral werewolves encountered in the wild?
I've yet to encounter such a shameful sight, however I would put them down without hesitation, they were weak. There is no hope for a rabid dog.

10) What rank would you like to hold in the Den?
Whatever is bestowed upon me.

11) What is your specialization?
My attacks are swift, but brutal. Whether as man or beast, there is nothing left of my prey/foe

I hunted the exterior of gallows rock and found quite a few tasty silver hand members to munch on, they think silver weapons are going to hurt me when they can't even find or hit me, foolish sheep....

I wonder why Bethesda decided not to make werewolves more canon. Maybe give werewolves faster health regeneration in beast form, with much slower (or no) regeneration from silver weapons.

The health regeneration is a sore subject since, in Bloodmoon, you did not regenerate health naturally except in wolf form. I accept that because the wolves of the companions were made by the Coven they look nothing like their Hircine counterparts and it also led to stunted health regeneration.

That reminds me, Br3admax, were we discussing the boundaries of Highrock and Skyrim? If so I'm currently looking for the book which states that the Nords rested control of an area of Highrock and another book which states that the Glenmoril Wyrd Coven was based in Highrock. I assume the later was either written before the Nord invasion or uses information from an earlier era. I'll get back to you with more once I can site sources.

They probably changed it because being in beast form hurts, a lot. All of your organs have to grow. Also once you get to a high enough level, even this stops.

Ah dang it. I've rooted out a vampire den, a bear den, and a fort full of mages. Or so I thought. It turns out there is an inside part to the fort. And I was just sent flying (literally) by some mage's lightning spell. I think I need to go werewolf.

How did that happen?

Does that mean Hissin is hanging out with us again?

There are only three members there now, and Southern Archer has given up his position and basically resigned. And here I thought that they would have new Dawnguard friends.

Guess they should have stuck to Quarra, Berne, and Aundae and forgotten about the Volkihar. ;) Though to be fair I don't think either of us were very well represented based on lore.
