I'm not sure but that looks like maybe Skingrad or something like that. Don't know where exactly though. What do you guys think?

It's in Skingrad, but... Out of curiosity, all_freed, if you win another round, do you intend to post an image or not? The last time you won, you did not post an image. Back on the top of page 5, Dohva stated that, if you cannot post an image, you shouldn't guess so that the game can continue in its original spirit. If you happen to need an image, you could probably just copy one from the wiki if you wanted to. It has been done before.

@Mauin - Hey. Was that one of your 'I know where it is but someone else can take it' posts? I can't tell. :S

Technically, all_freed said Skingrad first, so if we're playing by the rules here, the round would go to all_freed (if the answer was, in fact, Skingrad. Which I'm pretty sure it was since I was there recently).

I was only asking if all_freed was actually going to post an image this time. If not, you'll wind up having to post another one.

I dunno, I figured all_freed's comment was just speculative/discussion.

Anyways yes it is in the Skingrad area somewhere, anyone fancy homing in a little on it?

A speculative/discussion comment that happened to get the location right. In my opinion, there's nothing left to guess on. We already know it's in Skingrad.

Okay, if "maybe Skingrad or something like that" is really all that's needed then it's over to whoever wants it: all_freed, you or whomever.

That looks like the path to the left of Lazare Milvan's House?

Spot on! :D

Do you have a pic? If so it's over to you.
(Unless anyone else is going to fight you for it...)

Nice avatar btw
(edit: You changed it... Miranda Otto is nice too, though.)

Thanks, Timster! (And all_freed for the Skingrad hint!)

I do indeed have a pic (and no one has proposed a fight yet, so I guess it's ok ;) )

Where have Aarah and Marcurio gone off to?

@Mauin Sorry about that, yeah I missed Dohva.'s post on page 5. I won't post any more guesses anymore unless I'm plan to post a screenshot.

@Aarah At first I thought maybe it was a place near throat of the world but then it looks wrong cause you included the compass so then I thought maybe it's two of the barrows closer to Markarth. So I'm going to guess maybe it's the Hageraven redoubt (the one with the forsworn)? Can't remember the name exactly though...

Nope, that's not where they are. (Hag Rock Redoubt, yeh?).

Hag Rock Redoubt would have been my guess as well.
<edit>
I can't remember the last time I saw clear skies in The Reach, mind you... :?:

Oh, sorry, I thought the location was Dead Crone Rock, but it turns out that that is a little bit higher up than where I took the photo. It is indeed, Hag Rock Redoubt. Your photo made me double check -as there was no denying that that was the right place.

In that case, your go, all_freed! Sorry for the mix up.

There're three icons on the compass a standing stone and two caves.

I think the compass gave it away.
How many Standing Stones have two caves north of them?

Anyways: head north along the road by Whiterun until you get to Whitewatch Tower.
Then head east. Just past the Dragon Burial Mound head SW up into the rocky crag area.

The compass shows The Ritual Stone, and the two caves you have (apparently) not found yet are:

Spoiler:
Shimmermist Cave & Graywinter Watch

You are on the right track, but there's an explorable location much, much closer to where this pic was taken from.

All right, you're standing just north of Lipsand Tarn (and I guess your athletics and acrobatics skills must be pretty good, for it's a bother to get up there :D ).

Lady Susan IV does her yoga every morning and I am an old hand at the 'diagonal-jump-spam' maneuver, so the mountains of Tamriel hold no challenges... :wat:
