Nooooooo! Eat it raw with goat cheese, elder cheese, and raw venision. Cooking removes the flavor.

It's a good thing too, since you are the only dog I see.

Lord Harkon thought the same thing.

I never get bored of raw as long as it's still warm.

Does any one know a good place to hunt snow saber cats...hoping the Cat doesn't get too upset over it but I need some teeth.

Prey, return to your hovel, you have no merit here.

The northern coastline is full of them.

That's where I've been searching but I've been less than successful.

Try the road between Morthal and Dawnstar.

edit: Vampires are very quick to re-spawn at Broken Fang Cave, so it's a good place to keep the feet light, and the claws sharp.

I'll try my hand at this as long as it doesn't matter that I'm in the Stormcloak faction?

1) How did you earn the gift of lycanthropy?
Through the beastblood of the companions circle.

2) Who is your favorite in-game werewolf?
Don't really have one maybe Kodlak White-Mane, Even though he wishes to be free from the beastblood I still like him.

3) How often do you use your gift?
Only when I am overwhelmed by the prey, otherwise I like to keep it secret.

4) What is your favorite prey to hunt?
I like going after Forsworn camps deep in the reach. Strong enemies make for good sport!

5) What are your feelings towards mortals?
I have no particular feelings towards them derived from being a werewolf.

6) How many vampires have you slain?
Haven't really been counting but I have not encountered many, most notable is the vampire Morvarth.

7) What is your favorite part about being a werewolf?
Turning a curse into a gift is a rare thing, hence I both love and hate being a werewolf

8 ) Do you utilize Hircine's gift through power of His ring?
I usually get the saviours hide rather than the ring...I don't know if you can get it elsewhere.

9) How do you feel about the feral werewolves encountered in the wild?
I am yet to encounter one.

10) What rank would you like to hold in the Den?
Savage

11) What is your specialization?
Speed and strength, 2 handed weapons and light armour.

I hereby leave the pack to create the Vampire Clan. The call for power was too strong.

I'm starting to think perhaps this Werewolf and Vampire thing is a little excessive, or perhaps reaches further than the realm of Skyrim as a game. Both Lycanthropes and Vampires are not exclusive to Skyrim as a game, and are reoccurring throughout the TES series/franchise. However, considering the Volkihar Clan is a prominent faction in the branching Dawnguard questline it's certainly relevant. Please don't take this as me saying this isn't a good idea, or that this or any other Club should not be allowed, I just wanted to point out that I think both the Werewolf and Vampire Clubs move beyond the original concept (which is not necessarily a bad thing mind you) and that we should perhaps consider where to from here, keeping in mind the original intention and the original struggle to find a happy medium for the Clubs that would satisfy those interested whilst not overly frustrating those opposed to the idea (and yes, there were numerous of these, not to their discredit).

Essentially, it was agreed upon by those involved and after direction from the Mod Team that the Great Houses would be places of a relatively high level of discussion and productivity, not solely places to gather and hang out/chat amongst like-minded individuals. Concern was apparently expressed that they might become too casual, too chatty, in other words, potentially spammy, which I do not believe really ever became too big a problem in their regard, and I hope never does.

I hate to sound like an old grump, and I'm not tryng to dissuade anyone or shed any negativity upon the situation, it's just that not a lot of us know the original tribulations involved in getting the great Houses off the ground, and even today they still sit tenuously, particularly with the recent inactivity in the Morrowind Forum, which i expect will pick up agan after Skyrim has well and truley died down.

Hope you guys continue to have fun with this .

Thanks for the tip, HotW, I'll check there tonight.

It is possible to gain both, GoatLiver

OblivionDuruza, I agree that this does, and should, reach beyond just Skyrim. I personaly stand by Bloodmoon as our version of Dawnguard, perhaps the thread should be moved to a non game/location specific section?

Well, I'm in the Legion so if a Stormcloak got in I hope I can!
1.How did you earn the gift of lycanthropy?
I have had the beast blood for as long as I can remember.
2.Who is your favorite in-game werewolf?
Skjor, he took my under his wing (or claw!) when he found me hunting down some food. And he taught me to control my power.
3.How often do you use your gift?
As many times as I can. Mostly in the wilderness.
4.What is your favorite prey to hunt?
Mammoths, they present a challenge. Or maybe deer, they're fast.
5.What are your feelings towards mortals?
Pfft. Weaklings who can't even stand the thought of werewolf. I try to keep my distance from them. I'm not about to go slaughter them for no reason though.
6.How many vampires have you slain?
Well I don't have Dawnguard. And even so I don't see them too often. Though when I do, I try to rip their throats out even more than usual.
7.What is your favorite part about being a werewolf?
The ability to be with my fellow wolves. And the feel of power coursing through my veins.
8. you utilize Hircine's gift through the power of His ring?
I'm tracking it down.
9.How do you feel about the feral werewolves encountered in the wild?
I don't have Dawnguard. But the ones in the Silver Hand bases. I free them when I can. And let them slaughter their captors.
10.What rank would you like to hold in the den?
Whatever you want.
11.What is your specialization?
I specialize in my speed. I can hunt down the fastest deer, the fleetest horse. Anything.

That actually might be a good idea, now you mention it. Considering moving it to TES General shouldn't cause too many dramas, would anyone object? When we take into account Vampires have existed in all the recent major TES titles and Werewolves and other Lycanthropes have existed in previous titles too (Morroiwnd, Daggerfall), and will probably existed in future ones too (fingers crossed).

Also, if anyone from any of the Clubs wants to talk about organising any activities, projects, competitions or roleplays, feel free to PM me, I think it'd be great if we got something going.

I was thinking TES General. I support this but I'm going to wait to get feed back from the other wolves.

Current members (and Skyrimplayer - I'll add you when I get home), PM Hunter and give him your vote on whether this thread stays or moves. Yes or No only; we just need feedback. Thanks!

I will say openly that I think this should remain a Skyrim thread, but what votes you give Hunter determines it.

The hunt, is on!

Survey:
Spoiler:
1) How did you earn the gift of lycanthropy? Aela gave me her blood in the initiation and I am forever greatful for that.

2) Who is your favorite in-game werewolf? Aela the huntress. She... She is just awesome!

3) How often do you use your gift? Every time I have something to kill. WHich is every day :Twisted Evil:

4) What is your favorite prey to hunt? Mortals... Oh yes... Definatly. Especially the guards who had their knees pierced with arrows. And vampires.

5) What are your feelings towards mortals? Their prey and practice for my great gift.

6) How many vampires have you slain? OVER 9000!

7) What is your favorite part about being a werewolf? Everything, really.

8 ) Do you utilize Hircine's gift through power of His ring? Only when I need to.

9) How do you feel about the feral werewolves encountered in the wild? Sane or not, they are still my brothers. I try to spare them if I can.

10) What rank would you like to hold in the Den? Brute, but if not that, anything really.

11) What is your specialization? I stalk my prey and come charging in, using my brute force and skill at the slightest sign of weakness.
