For some reason, I don't remember falling for the music in Oblivion at all.

Gah. I love this song so much this song alone could make Morrowind the winner. It always makes me go back to the time where I first started the game, not knowing anything of the game, and was completely swept away.
Peaceful waters is absolutely beautiful as well.

I love the soundtrack from the three latest TES games (I heard fewer of Morrowind's themes than those from the other two, but still), so I can't bring myself to make a choice. So far my favourite is Oblivion's, but Skyrim is also this close to taking the prize cookie.

For me, Oblivion, and by a long way too.

Maybe it's just nostalgia, but I feel that the music had everything.

If you were asking for just the main theme, Skyrim would win hands down. I mean, wow.

Compare:
Oblivion
Morrowind, maybe?
And... do you think Skyrim's soundtrack is 3 hours long?

I don't care how long Skyrim's soundtrack is, I go back to my previous point: to me, the music just doesn't feel like it's there. I don't really notice it, not like I did with the previous two games. At least in those I remember going somewhere and saying, "Ah, the music is so nice..." Haven't really had that experience with Skyrim. In fact, only thing I did say about the OST there is, "Hey, haven't I heard this before?" :P

I feel like there's nothing relaxing about Skyrim's OST. It's all tense.

Call me crazy, but Arena had the best most nostalgic soundtrack ever! Even though most of the music back then was primitive I still loved it. My favorite soundtrack in Arena was the Tavern music, absolute best in the game people. Oh and my second favorite music comes from Skyrim, but I'd rather not have two answers so i'll stick with Arena :).

This is a hard one. When I'm actually playing Morrowind, it's my favorite soundtrack. But it not as good when your listening to it when your not playing the game. Oblivions soundtrack is probably the most solid, its just all-around probably the best, could listen to it whilst playing/not playing. But Skyrim's soundtrack is probably my favorite. It's much more ambient than the other two games, I could easily listen to the Skyrim soundtrack just casually on my Ipod.

I think my favorite soundtrack would be Oblivion. Walking around at night listening to Auriels Ascension while in the Shivering Isles gave me an amazing feeling. Skyrim is okay, but i don't think it stands out as much. Plus, Oblivion's soundtrack goes really well with lots of the forest areas. (depends on song)

Any place that you go in Oblivion the music helps you think that you are really there. Oblivion is the only game that I keep the music on.

Well i think each of them has their own feeling..

Morrowinds is nice and slow , and suits morrowinds whole unification story , its very nice , and i like it very much , but there are much better peices of music

Oblivions is great , the main theme feels strong and solid , and inspiring , makes you feel great .. but one feeling it gave me was that the daedric threat is actually is a huge danger , and i have to protect cyrodiil from it !

Skyrims main theme is great also , but theres too many stops and start , and it doesnt flow together great .. as for the other themes , none of them are hugely memorable , but some of the best themes are the ones that play inside Inns !! i always loved them
