So, I'm planning a garden with flowers from Oblivion. Now, I'm mostly going to plant flowers that exist in real life as they are in the game, but dragon's tongue and redwort flowers look so enticingly possible that I do want to see if I can find them in real life. Does anyone have any idea which real flowers come closest to these?

Dragon's Tongue looks like a type of orchid to me.

Still looks like an orchid to me (from the side, I guess).
What about a
Chrysanthemum for Redwort? They come in a red color, too.

The Oblivion dragon's tongue looks more lily-y to me than orchid-y. Besides, I can't be dealing with orchids. Orchids are [&@%!].
And as for the chrysanthemums, yes, they'll do, but I'm looking for something with flowers that are just a bit bigger.

By the nine, that flower is a monstrosity! And by far the coolest thing I've seen all day.
How about this as dragon's tongue? It seems to be easier to grow than an orchid: EDIT: Nope, that wasn't it.

I wonder if the
Snapdragon was used as a base for the Dragon's Tongue?

Probably. It's just a tongue away from being dragon's tongue, really

Orchids are really fickle (and you'd need reduced sunlight), but I'm planting
canna flowers and find they're a beautiful alternative. Easier to grow as well. They are a little dragon tongue-like to me (albeit in the Skyrim sense).
