We haven't heard that much about gods, but since Akatosh and Alduin are the same we at least one of them will. So long as bethesda don't change the lore.

I have seen concept artwork for the Tiber Septim temple, so if he is in, perhaps the others are too.

The original 'Eight Divines' were based off the Nord Pantheon, and Tiber Septim was a Nord. So i suspect we will see some temples/shrines to Tiber Septim, whilst the other eight will probably be featured in the local chapels, or something of that nature. The reason I don't think Tiber Septim will also appear in the chapels is because its only the Imperials that made him part of their pantheon(I think).

Here is a link to the Lore page regarding this.

The Nords integrated Talos into their pantheon as Ysmir.

I was not aware of that, thanks for correcting me.

We've seen screenshots of a statue of Talos, footage of a statue of Dibella, and concept art for a statue of Mara; so yes, we'll see some 9 Divines related shrines/items

Although Alduin is the nordic variation of Akatosh, they aren't the same thing. According to the lore page Alduin only superficially resembles Akatosh.

There was reportedly a loading screen that said that Talos worship was banned in Skyrim.

WHY WOULD THEY BAN TALOS WORSHIP? I'm allergic to things that don't make sense.

It will make sense. My guess:
Because he isn't truly a god. He was just an emperor.

Yeah. Talos would represent 'Imperial Oppression' to the Rebellious Nords.

The Empire banned the worship of Talos. The Nords rebelled in response (sorta)

This is what I have heard... ;)

To what extent? I don't think a faction has been confirmed, but they obviously have a presence.

That is true, it was based upon the Concordant of White-Gold. The Altmer are stamping it out across the Empire as a result, in return for peace. Basically, the Empire is not strong enough to prevent the Elves from having their own way, and the Elves really don't like the idea of a human god.

Yeah, the Aldmeri Dominion pretty much owns Tamriel now, it seems.

Yeah, there are a number of Talos related sites/shrines around Skyrim, despite the fact that it is an outlawed practice to worship him.

This particular one is next to the Castle and a Companion Hall, it's good to see that the districts are truly separately governed...

Well this might be attributed to the Stormcloacks' defiance of the Empire?

Not just the Empire, but also the Elven Juggernaut Thalmor; makes me like them even more...

Something that may or may not be pertinent, there's a skyforge next to this particular Talos statue..
