I want to see better containers. It's a minor greivance but I'm sick and tired of breaking into someone's house in Oblivion, taking care of a Hard level locked chest, only to find a pair of calipers and some pants inside. Pretty much every owned container in the game is full of junk. I can understand the point of having filler in a container to make it seem used, and having the odd container solely have junk in it, but I'm playing a theif right now and it's pretty boring.

Yea, that'd be pretty awesome .. It would clearly have to be a very rare and hard to obtain artifact, because that's a little over the top over powered if it's an easily accessible power/ item. :p

Would you call it the Twilight Hood? There's a reason that vampires are limited.

i'd like your carry load/encumbrance to be determined by your wilpower, endurance and strength scores, not just strength

for reasons of game balance and realism

A combination of Strength and Endurance, sure. But I'm not sure about Willpower. Being very determined to lift something isn't going to make it any easier.

^ Attributes have been eliminated. I believe encumbrance is now determined by Stamina.

But if attacking an oppnent thats not ready (weapon sheathed, facing wrong way, etc) have them get knocked over, or lose balance, enter like a ragdoll kind of state. And just for the fun of it, have knockout punchs, if you land the perfect punch in someones face, there out cold. Its just another small thing that would make the game more in depth and fun. :)

They fixed that enemies stagger like u was sayin

interesting.. stamina is fatigue?

what happens when you level up? new perks? the TES system doesnt need levelling up imo, but i need a sense of achievement so i like it.

Yes. You get to pick a perk when you level up. That's new "reward" for leveling up rather than selecting attribute points.

Longer Guild quests that are more thought out and making it so that not everyone can become guild head you have to do extremely well then when u become it you can make desicions that will effect your guild and everything around u

Well, despite your grammar lol, I get what you mean and I agree. (:

I have found guilds in The Elder Scrolls series pretty pointless because they don't offer any real rewards. Sure a few items here and there, but there is no way to actually be the guild master once you reach that rank. I think that you should be able to control the guild, send people to get things, etc ... But I think we're talking next-gen (maybe even the generation after that) games here.

I agree, aside from followers, when you get to guild master everything stops really

one of the biggest jolts in Oblivion for me was when Lucien pops up unanounced. So what if occasionally, npcs invade your home/lair, perhaps the thieves have heard you're sitting on a pile of loot, perhaps an enemy sends an assassin to kill you (like the DB in Morrowind), or perhaps a psycho were vampire is munching its way through the village and your dinner party is interrupted...

If this sort of thing happened, then the game could introduce a whole layer of stuff - hiring guards and servants to oversee your property, mages could put glyphs of warding on access points, summon atronarchs to patrol the attic. Thieves could set traps and alarms for unwanted visitors and lock spells/padlocks would be useful. It would open up a whole new non-combat orientated set of skills and spells and make things more interesting imo

With the improved hand-to-hand combat physics, I would love to see some form of underground bare-knuckle boxing competitions. Similar to the Fist Fighters Gang in Fable. Nothing massive, just a few venues, with different types of fighters and some form of prize or trophy.

Maybe you have to get into a few tavern brawls before they will let you compete?

Or something like in one of my favourite Morrowind mods: Building Up Uvirith's Grave.

Basically the mod allows you to expand your Telvanni tower by buying upgrades and completing quests. In the end your tower will have transformed into a town with many shops, town walls and even guilds. The guild system worked like this: when you achieved a high enough ranking in any guild, a representative of that guild would appear in your town's inn. Then you could accept his offer to build a hall for the guild (or a backroom for thieves, or a hideout for assassin, or a temple for the Tribunal, etc.) and give him some gold (about 1000-5000 drakes if I remember correctly) to cover the expenses. Then you could watch as the building was slowly constructed somewhere in your town.

This system could be used in Skyrim, and it would be awesome. Maybe even picking your side (Stormcloaks or the Imperial Army) would have impact on your house/manor/town. :)

And actual leveled monsters that wander on your property randomly and attack it.

Yeah thats why in Oblivion in DB I usually stop at Silencer and RP from there and make my own missions

Ditto. I have a 'completion' character, finish everything, then kinda lurk in the upper-middle ranks. Except for becoming Arch-Mage, because I like being an arrogant prick of an Altmer Arch-Mage.

if you have an angry or nasty character, you could design your house and traps to be like a mega trap, lure them in and kill them slowly, capture them alive and interrogate them, etc

and use clairvoyance to follow them round the cruel nightmare like a cctv camera

:D and :Twisted Evil:
