How would that work? Would you turn intro a full blown wolf, or you grow a snout and sprout fangs?

dont agree - enchanted clothes are often far better than armour, lighter, no need for repairing and more protecive, even without sigil stones - beth are very fashion conscious - armour is a lifestyle choice, nothing more

repairing is gone in Skyrim.

Except if Skyrim has magic efficiency drop with armors, which may render some spells useless (e.g. Oblivion's crowd control spells are not reliable at higher levels for armor-wearers).

Armors can be enchanted, enchanted clothes can not be. So, if you need shielding, wear armor and you can get extra effect enchanted on it :)

And yes, they say, that repairing is gone in Skyrim.

So you are saying u can't enchant already enchanted clothes? If so you could never do that. But if it's a typo and you meant to say you can't enchant clothes period, that would suck

I just made a wild guess, based on previous TES games.

Yes, but they kind of have Shield effect built-in, so you can add another possibly useful effect on them :)

No sleep needed to level up. It kinda bugged me that in oblivion you could have 100 in all skills and be level 1 because you need to sleep to level.

Less robotic AI. In oblivion when they walked they would always turn at right angles to enter a building.

being able to spread gossip and join in on a conversation. it always bugged me when you would overhear ppl talking then you would talk to one of them and they wouldn't mention any of what they were just saying.

armor forging minigame. I think it'd be kinda cool if you had a minigame where you melted the metal then poured it into a mold then beat it with a hammer and repeated. and it could be optional but you could only get the best quality 100% of the time if you played the game otherwise it was by percentage based on forging skill.

when buying armor and weapons being able to examine them before purchase.

being able to carry up to and including your weight limit. I don't want to be over encumbered when my weight is 360/360 and even if I am over encumbered I don't want to be completely immobile.

They now turn the door knobs so maybe that will stop it who knows

Great idea. I hated when sometimes I would buy clothes in oblivion and they ended looking completely different than its icon. Skyrim's gonna have a huge selection of clothes i'm guessing so it could really use this.

I can't wait to have my character in clothing, but have it enchanted, while having a massive sword on my side (or back) .. I always found it fun to look poor, but have a strong weapon. xD

Also i doubt it would happen but i'd like to see male and female armor not just armor that magically changes form to fit your gender.
And clothing too

I knew that would cause some confusion! :P

I meant October 4th, even though I wasn't being completely serious. I just want to get my hands on Skyrim as soon as possible. I wonder what they're doing on this last month of development..

Wow Almost 50 pages of ideas I looked over, so here are a mix of a lot of good ideas I read and some of my own...Besides the basics (better voice actors, good graphics, ECT...)
*Werewolves and the ability to become one. They could just revise some vampire code to do this.
*Disguises like in Fallout: New Vegas, but slightly more in depth, such as being discovered if talking to a faction member.
*More types of travel, such as boats and wagon rides...also not just fading to black, actually watching the land pass by.
*Maybe some form of sports to play...maybe a mini game.
*Using spells to enchant punches, such a fists with fire on them. (FALCON PAUWNCH!!!)
*Argonians able to poison their hands since there immune to poison.
*Beast races using their claws, tails and teeth.
*Torches being some-what useful weapons.
*A morality system.
*Companions that can be called upon at almost any time.
*Companions that react accordingly to your morality alignment.
*Underwater exploration being more prominent, such as more treasure in the bottom of a lake instead the same amount found in the nearby stream. .
*Horse mounted combat, or at least the ability to stomp a small creature that’s attacking you.
*A buyable/rentable stable for any horse you may buy. Just ride up to it and your horse is taken care off until you need it.
*A cloak to cover armor and such, just clothing nothing more that looks.
*A spell or dragon shout that would increase you size, say to the scale of a giant, and only out in the open, it obviously increase damage and such.
*A teeny bit more dialogue from our character, or at least a bit more detailed question choice. (Instead of having “Rumor” as a choice, why not, “have you heard anything strange lately?”)
*Taunting to increase an enemies attack speed but make it harder for them to block or parry.
*A few more joinable factions like town guards and the like.
*All guards not immediately knowing you broke the law and the ability to escape the town and if you escape capture a bounty in placed on your head, for doing something reasonably bad (killing someone, stealing 100+ gold of items) and not being heavily punished for accidently hitting someone or picking up the wrong item.
*And special note to Lindai for the idea of being able to play out a dream/nightmare, especially after having vampire dreams sound so cool.
*Bards...nuff said.
*A better crafting system and barter system like FO:NV.
*KneelBeforeZod's idea of being able to paint. Instead of making tons of memory for multiple paintings, why not one canvas you can restart on and display in your house?
*A barber to change hairstyles.
*Sherrid's idea of vampires coming out at night, on extension werewolves as well.
*Random events scattered at certain points like in Fallout 3.
*Traveling merchants like from FO 3.
*Speaking of fallout 3 how bout a dwarven made steam punk power fist?
*Playing the game after main quest is done. (Just to be sure)
*Some save data reading, like saying the champion of cyrodil was a (gender) and a (race) in a history book instead of being so vague like oblivion description of past heroes.
* A very limited console for Xbox ; just to fix glitches and such.

Wow that is a lot of ideas but this is probably going to be my only wish list for a while.

I think itd be cool if npcs would start dialog with the player even if it was just to talk. I mean basically in oblivion you talked to people and ppl talked to each other but no one ever started to talk to you. They would say stuff toward you but you weren't able to answer

Well, there is the Radiant Story set=up, so that'll help. Also, agreed on no sleep for leveling, that was a PAIN.

Cool idea, it would just have to be rare or hard to find.

The only thing I can think of now that Skyrim is so close (I can feel it!) is decent lighting during the character creation. I plan on taking my good time to create a good-looking Dovakhiin, and I do not want him looking like crap as soon as he's out of the starter dungeon because the only source of light is a green-glowing window.
