Hoping midnight, or the day before, but I preordered, so probably midday the 11th.

How early do you guys show up to these? It's going to be freezing here, so hopefully I won't need to show up too early..

I preordered skyrim at the mall and my friend is going to drive me there after school.
Ill be 15 hours behind some people but I'll be well rested.

Ive been to a lot of midnight releases, the store I usually get them from has a place to pick it up if you preordered it though that they just hand out to people who preordered it, meaning no linez

im getting it on 16h00 on 10.11.11 because all the stores are closed on 11.11.11

In the UK and a few other places, dates like that are written as Date/Month/Year. Basically, Elegost is saying they have to wait until Christmas.

Where do you live, and why for me atleast all stores are still open x.x

Probably in a place where Remembrance Day (CAD) or Veteran's Day (US) is a stat holiday..

Since I've got the biggest mouth on these forums, I wouldn't be surprised if people have heard me say this before. Oh well.

I'm stuck in a tiny Eastern European country. They won't sell the game here but a friend might pick it up in Estonia, provided she can get her hands on a copy.

The day it comes out off steam..

I have already pre-ordered it but sadly my final year 11 math exams are on the 14th, so if i play this game i am going to FAIL as i wont revise or probably sleep -_-

So im locking it away until after the 14th.....Those 3 days are going to be the death of me....

I will get it November 11th whenever I decide to roll out of bed. Midnight releases hold no appeal to me.

The day it comes out boyyys! i preordered 2 copies. Probably gonna skip school to go pick it up, unless remembrance day closes stores :/

What's the second copy for? Friend, back up in case of accident?

Due to Steam's nonsense, 5am -400 GMT on 11/11/11. But it's preordered, ready for preloading, etc.

I guess I'll first get a better computer, and then I'll get Skyrim. I hope it will drop in price after Christmas. But maybe I'll have it earlier, like, on 11.11.11. And I will just put the game on a special spot.

People start showing up really early, but I usually go by at around 10:30 or so, they keep the store open until like 11:30 so people can go in and pay off their pre-orders, etc. Then at 11:30 they close the store and the line starts getting deep outside. They start handing out the game at midnight, and the line moves fast cause they tell you have your receipt and your ID ready, and they scan the receipt, hand you the game, and youre out of there.

The Black Ops midnighter line here was probably 200 people deep, and it was still over by like 12:30.

They usually have stuff going on if you show up early, sometimes they put the game up on a tv and let people play for a few mins at a time, pass out food and energy drinks, do raffles for giveaway items (last time someone got upgraded to the collectors edition or whatever), plus people are all standing around talking about the game.

Also, the people are generally really cool, I've been offered beer, cigarettes, other substances (that may or may not be legal depending on where you live). It's a pretty good little party lol.

im not sure if there is a midnight release for me so, 9:30am 11/11/11, or 11:59pm 10/11/11

Even if my copy wasn't being delivered by post, there's no way I would go to a midnight release. While I do think it would be quite enjoyable, the fact of the matter is that the nearest video games shops are in the nearby town, which you REALLY don't want to be there after dark.

Only midnight release I went to was for Fable 3. Got there at 11PM, was out minutes after midnight. had $126 in trade, so got fable 3 and the de-lux strategy guide for FREE, BABY!
