I think this is an awesome idea! I would love to see something like that. We secondary weapons and things on our characters in all kinds of games, but it would be really cool to see the items in our hotkeys appear on our characters!

I want PERMANENT racial bonuses. Same with Birthsigns. Basically, Mages are very overpowered (when efficiently leveled) because their +magicka bonuses are huge. Especially with the way Bethesda looks to be changing how leveling and bonuses work (I'm guessing retro-active health this time) this would leave say, Nords, really underpowered. When I say permanent, I mean instead of starting with higher attributes, they should have say, Fortify health +100 (to the same tune as a High Elf +100 Magicka) which still acts the same with 100 endurance. Redguards could have fortify strength +15, fortify one handed 15, Orcs could have fortify health 50, fortify armorer 15 (which would be used so instead of gear being repaired to 125% with 100 armorer, to be repaired at 150%). Etc etc. Basically, so it's on top of the default stats.

Same deal with Birthsigns. Also, ability signs should be cut so either they're a spell/perk completely unique to that sign and unattainable to other sign users. They would probably be better if converted into some kind of flat bonus though. eg. The Lord could become +50% self healing and +10 Restoration or something.

How about the ability to adjust your starting stats to even further personalize your character? Or how about beast races that do lethal damage with Hand to Hand combat (they do have claws after all)? Or even skill perks for people who specialize in the Hand to Hand skill to deal lethal damage instead of to the target's fatigue before damaging health?

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but the ability to name your save files like you could in Morrowind.

I love naming my saves! You can still do this through the console on the PC version btw.

Open the console, then type save, followed by the name you want for it in quotation marks (the quotation marks are for names that have spaces, otherwise i'm pretty sure you don't need them).
You can find the command here.

1. Actual Skill Needed for Guilds. - One thing I miss is how in morrowind you actually required some skill to get to a higher rank in a guild, like in the mages guild you'd need 70 destruction and 60 alteration or something like that.

2. Unique Places. - I'm not talking designing new meshes and textures for every cave and dungeon, but it would be nice to have a bit of variety unlike oblivion's simple grey rock caves and mossy cave floors. Like perhaps sandstone and siltstone textures for caves?

3. Survival Skills. - I'm not talking anything too complex like popping up tents and skinning some wolves for warmth. Just being able to actually put those campfires to use and perhaps smithing, dosen't seem like the hardest thing to do.

4. Accents? - A really strange suggestions I know but perhaps the further north you get the deeper the voices and the further south in Skyrim you get the more exaggerated? really unlikely but it'd be pretty cool.

The ability to track creatures.

And I agree about the required skills for guilds, I missed that too.

A town called Fargo where everyone says "ya" and "son of a gunderson" Sounds like a town I'd like to watch a dragon burn to the ground. (smiley face)

1 thing, Bethesda, remember SI. Because that was many times better than the vanilla game.

According to OXM they are a least doing this in part!

I like this suggestion. Accents can be fun and interesting.

However, one thing that always bugs me in Morrowind is how do they know I'm an outlander before I have even spoken to them? I always pause and think "what gave it away? Is there a secret signal that the mainlanders know they refuse to tell the outlanders? and Who'se been talking about me?"

In Morrowind I always thought the people should greet someone as a local, then when we interact and they realize I am an outlander those who are opposed to outlanders should drop a few pursuasion points, and those who are attracted to/like outlanders should get a rise in a few points. It would make interacting more interesting.

I was just playing Morrowind and suddenly realized another thing I always download as soon as they are available... Tattoos. I would love to be able to pick out tattoos for my characters, and where they went.

Even better a program that allowed me to design my own. Like a simple art program that would allow me to "draw" on the characters body or had simple designs that could be adjusted with a mouse which would allow me to pick a fill in color and "paste" the design on the character so that the tattoo would move with the character. THAT would be wonderful!

Drawing your own tattoos does sound pretty cool, as long as they have some premade ones for those of us that suck at drawing. (Nord walks into bar with a ahem. No swearing, remember? drawn on his face "Uhh I passed out and long story short I hate my friends.")

Haha is it sad that that's the first thing I know would happen if they did that? Not that I would ruin my character like that, but still, it will be just as bad as Black Ops emblems.

Chunkier bodies. I hated the fact that all of my characters looked the same in the body despite the fact that some of them had ungodly high Strength while others were barely strong enough to move themselves around.

Guards ten cities away not knowing what crime I just committed, or at the very least right away. I hated that in Morrowind, but at least I can kind of rationalize it with the Mage's Guild Guides sending a message, but for the towns that didn't have Guild Guides, it became tougher. And then with Oblivion, it was out right impossible to rationalize as there was no more "Instant Transportation" via the Guild Guides (the only actual teleportation were the teleport pads on the Mage's Tower DLC, and that was a one way trip). Maybe even the ability to disguise ourselves or something so that if we have a bounty, we can hide from the law right in front of them.

 Yet I can see some of the people I've met in the forums that would do this for a personal joke with a character.

I would also love a lot of deep, dark, dangerous places to explore. I frequently download new landmasses, caves, etc just to explore. I often ignore the main quests on some of my characters and just explore.

I also want a lot of vampires to hunt. I love to hunt vampires. I really enjoyed Oblivion because it had so many respawning vampires to hunt. It is especially fun when my character is a vampire vampire hunter. :Twisted Evil:

After all, I think my best characters are those who exploit their strengths and protect themselves from their weaknesses.

Respawning enemies in at least half of the dungeons.

What, this isn't a update page?

Dynamic Ice! Like, some ice over a pond can only support 400 pounds, and you're a Nord who weighs 200 pounds. So if you go onto the pond with over 200 lbs of eqipment, the ice breaks when you go on it. Also, to take frost damage from freezing water.

Well, everyone else would take frost damage from falling in the lake, the Nord would start taking a bath. Well maybe, not all of them have gotten the concept of bathing yet.

1. More hairstyles - From completely bald, to long flowing locks, and everything in between.

2. Beards/Facial hair - Pretty self explanitory.

3. Tattoos - Probably just me who wants tattoos, but I think they would be great.

If you get to draw them yourself, or maybe import a small .jpg, tat's would be awesome.
But I hate when you get a bunch of stock styles to choose from.
And they're always black. -.-

And + on the more hairstyles. :P
