I've heard of literally one or two instances involving early players of XBox360 titles being banned from Live, but in each case it was a game that featured online gameplay, and the user was only banned if he/she tried to play with others online. To my knowledge, no person has ever been banned from either service for playing a single-player game early.

In the case of the XBox360, there are enough folks around with Skyrim achievements in their online XBox Live profile, so if Microsoft were actively banning people who were playing the game early we would have heard about it by now

Before I go to sleep tonight I will have spawned Filbol Dankins, a Khajiit found crossing into skyrim with a cart full of skooma.

This makes me very happy.

For me Skyrim comes out in 7 and a half hours.

I am so excited about Skyrim that I almost cannot contain myself. Just a few...more...hours...ugh!

This is true. With the exception of locked closets and my excitement over ZOMIGOD SKYRIM...I got nothing, really.

In about 12 hours I'll have Skyrim!

I won't be playing the game until around 6:00pm GMT tomorrow, due to a combination of my nocturnal lifestyle (being up all night and sleeping during the day) and the fact my girlfriend pre-ordered me the game from a store within a large shopping centre (which means they can't do a midnight launch as there would be security concerns by the owner of the shopping centre and the other stores).

I will actually receive the game around 9:00am, but of course I'll have only just gone bed at that point.

I think it's going to be impossible for me to get some quality sleep, but I've got to resist the urge otherwise I'll simply be far too tired to play the game and feel unwell and exhausted all day. It's going to be really tough resisting the urge to just not bother sleeping, come downstairs when my girlfriend gets in from work with the game in hand and just play all day long.

But I will, because I've done it so many times before - going without sleep then trying to play a game is not a pleasant experience.

I've been hearning things about problmes all around but most dont say which console, so any bad glitchs or problems on the 360? hopefuly with out a patch as I cant get it with patch

Ugh Ill have the game around 4pm tomorrow.... and I've heard that too... Im not too worried if its just minor detail glitches

So for everyone that is getting this game, we're finally here. It is, by my clock, just two hours until Steam lets those who have it download Skyrim.

It's been a journey, I'll tell you that. Can't quite believe it was 11 months ago I woke up, checked the forums and then just sort of walked around in a daze for the rest of the day. A lot of things have happened since then, I won't go into that. Yes, there's still over a month until I can play it, but to all those who have waited so patiently for this moment? Have fun. That's what we're here for, that was my goal for you people on the forums, and for the most part I think I've accomplished it. Most of all, when I say I hate those people who are getting the game before me, I don't really mean it, you know that.

So enjoy the game. I'll see you all up in Skyrim at Christmas. Maybe we can meet up in the tavern in Riverwood for a beer or two.

I've freakin,played it from the moment it has been unlocked till 30 minutes ago. Now I should sleep...
