Yeah I get it :/ I wasn't really hoping for any miracles! But then it will be able to run better than on my Xbox 360... hmm... gets me thinking?
It's just that computers have a long story of screwing me over, even If the game I'm trying to run is supposed to be runable on my computer I always seem to get issues with either it crashing or something else. Very rarely does a game just work out of the box.

But sicne this is Bethesda one can hope I suppose?

Thanks though buddy!

What about me fellow friends? Nobody has commented on my specs yet! :S
Are they just that bad or at what level could I run Skyrim at?

Specs are:

Windows 7 64 bit

Intel Core i5M 430 2.6 GHz which turbos up to 2.56 GHz or something

Ati Mobility Radeon HD 5650

6gb of ram

Resolution 1366 x 768

Appreciate all and any help :D!

Hahaha I seriously doubt it turbos to a lower clock frequency XD But yeah, that's a quad core, a pretty good (directx 11 compatible) gpu, and an excessive amount of RAM (the best kind! :D ) So from what i've seen, you should be able to run this game on high settings :) congrats! Not too sure about ultra, that'd be something you'd have to try out for yourself.

Well thank you good friend :D! I'm thinking about maybe getting Skyrim for pc now!
As for the clock frequency, I actually meant to say that it is 2.26 GHz and trubos up to 2.56 GHz or so XD!
Also, I'm fairly sure it's not a quad core but a dual core with that hyper threading thing on it :S?
But thanks again for the advice ;P

ah that's right. the hyper threading creates two virtual cores lol my bad. But still, you can utilize all "four" :) but yeah, any time! The best part about the pc is being able to mod it and make the game your own :D even though the vanilla skyrim is enough to keep one occupied for months

Because I had only 1 GB of RAM (what a shame!) I just ordered:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231122

From 1 to 4 GB. My CPU (Intel Core 2 Duo E6600) meets the minimal reqs, hopefully my graphic card (Radeon X1950XTX 512MB 256-bit GDDR4 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card) will handle the game with some normal graphics (I don't want to interact with squares ><). Lucky me, I found promo code and paid -$10 on my RAM :Twisted Evil:.

I think most people will be able to run it more or less as long as it is optimized?
Does anyone know if The Elder Scrolls games have had a good history when it comes to this?
Were the previous games, even Fallout 3, well optimized?

Otherwise I suppose mods could fix everything  !

First of all, people worry too much. I can bet that "Old Skyrim" will come out within weeks after 11.11, so even on weaker PCs many ppl will be able to play the game. As for the Bethesda's games - I really like them because they never ignore players, they always try to make their games so that people with weaker PCs would be able to still play it. If you have money you will simply get max out of what they've made for you, if you don't (like me, I'm short on cash right now ) mainly you can still play on medium. That's why I love Bethesda.

Agreed! But still? I'm not so worried about it running! I just came here to see at what approximate settings I could run it on. What I actually am afraid of is that the game might crash or not run properly because of optimization issues...

As mentioned earlier, my computer always somehow manages to screw me over... :|

Oh, I didn't see your post. Let me guess, you use laptop? I'm not familiar with laptops but as for the specs they are good. I would say medium high or even high low is fair to say.

Ah! Makes me happy to hear all this praise for my laptop  ! But Crispyman01 already made a fair guess on what I could run it on.

Also, I don't think you fully got me even though I appreciate you proffesional guess  ! I'm not afraid of it not running because of my specs. I'm more afraid of it not working properly when it comes out due to lack of proper optimization.

But I guess time will tell :|

Sorry Dark Spark, you won't get ultra on that. Your graphics card isn't powerful enough.

What would be a powerful enough graphics card to run Ultra??? :)

Here's the list of all graphic cards and their (assumed) performances.

That list is weird, it displays 4850x2, yet it doesn't account for 5770x2..
