Interesting they said it went Gold on the 4th when I know it isn't true it would have had to happen earlier then last week since review copies went out last week.

I think what they mean is the patch was submitted Friday the 4th which mean no chance of early release due to the lengthy patch approval process for consoles.

Actually, the "going gold" thing is direct from Bethesda. Though in this case, they're talking about all versions in all languages, so it's likely that the English version was gold before the 4th.

Still, even if it meant other languages I don't see the 4th giving Bethesda time to manufacture and ship the disks in time for the eleventh. I think "going gold" meant all pre-release production is complete and the patches were submitted the fourth.
