How do you get this game, is it freeware like Daggerfall, and is it worth getting if it's not? I am an ardent fan of Daggerfall so graphics and such are not an issue for me. Also, how easy is it to set up in dosbox for a complete idiot at using software?

You could check Amazon, Ebay, or a similar site, I'm not sure which country you're in, but here's one link. Try google searching it. It's not free, and it's got a lot of bad reviews, but I've never played it, so I wont pass judgement. You might like to see this and the wiki of course.

DOSBOX is pretty easy to run. It's just a matter of downloading it, installing it, it should then have a windows shortcut, double click & open then use exe commands to start the program you wish to run on DOSBOX. Another suggestion, which seems more difficult, but as I've found DOSBOX to be less then reliable, I've found the best way. Is to purchase a copy of windows which still has DOS anything before but not including XP has it. Partition your HDD install the older version of windows then you have a very reliable way of running DOS based games. I've got three versions of Windows on my Pc Win2000, XP & Vista. I think I'm also correct in saying you can install the older version of Windows on an external HDD, set your Pc to run from that drive when it's present & it will automatically run the OS without having to do anything tricky like partitioning.

Well, windows millenium doesn´t have dos, windows 98 second edition, windows 98 and windows 95 has it,so does windows 3x.

Unfortunately it can be hard to get newer hardware to run with those, could have a hardware profile in w9x and a secondary card supported by those active in that profile, for example I have an old pci gforce mx 100/200 for exactly that purpose,it will struggle with more demanding titles from that time, but most dos games isn´t so hard,it doesn´t run forsaken wery well tho ;) Btw by profile I mean the profile in for example w98se,and of course deactivate the modern fancy card there.

Another way would be virtual box which can be tricky sometimes, but it is possible to enable grafic in it,at least enough to run less demanding titles.
vm ware player also have some sort of 3d acceleration but that is meh, unless one pay for one of their professional solutions = expensive.

Even with Dos Box you will have some issues,
i cant even get the game into full screen, it just stays into a 600X800 screen with a black box filling in the rest of the screen...

With good reason because Battlespire is the bug paradise of TES games.
It becomes unplayable really fast so I don't recommed that you buy it.

You have to buy it. But there is no digital download. Look on sites like Ebay, it is most likely you will find it there.
