Post subject:  General Trivia

As with the Oblivion Trivia, but the questions can be about anything!

I'll start: How many expansion packs (not stuff packs) have been released for Sims 2?

Author:  TidusBlade [ Sat Jan 12, 2008 5:48 am ]
Post subject:

I think it has 6 Expansion packs ?

Post subject:

Correct! Your turn.

I guess it's General Gaming Trivia so what is the biggest city in Dalmasca in Final Fantasy XII?

Author:  Zarzius [ Sat Jan 12, 2008 9:58 am ]
Post subject:

That would be Rabanastre

Author:  TidusBlade [ Sat Jan 12, 2008 10:52 am ]
Post subject:

Yeah, thats right. Now your turn to ask :D

Post subject:

Ok, let me think..

Alright, How many tetris-blocks are there in the classic game?

Author:  TidusBlade [ Sat Jan 12, 2008 12:07 pm ]
Post subject:

Tetris FTW :P
Anyways, I guess theres around 7 blocks?

Author:  Deandra [ Sat Jan 12, 2008 12:28 pm ]
Post subject:

Let's see, the 4x1 thing, the square, the 2 s-shape thingies, the two L shapes, and the triangle shape... is that all of them?

I'm also guessing 7.

It's a General EVERYTHING trivia. You could even ask about beer.

Isn't there already a "General Questions about Everything" thread? General Questions about Gaming might be a better idea, just to keep it from the chopping block (which, incidentally, is shaped like one of the five hundred and ninety-eight original Tetris blocks).

What? No 2x2 square? That's the best shape upon which you can rest your beer!

I didn't feel the need to specify its dimensions, since I don't remember there being any other size of square in the game :?

There are,or rather there were. There used to be 17 different sized squares in the protoype version of Tetris, including one square which was actually a non-equiangular rhombus whom the other squares called a square because they respected diversity and non-traditional lifestyle choices.

Anyways, I think someone else should hop in and ask a new question. Maybe TidusBlade, since he answered first?

Google!

Since Arotos has left, who's asking the next question? :? I've got a good one if no-one else does.

Heh...The first (And only) time I played Runescape happened to be on that date...It stuck in my mind somehow...

And not so fast, Doros.

Here is a question for any American members of the forums.

Who was the President who gave the longest inauguration speech (It's quite ironic)?

Author:  Deandra [ Wed Jan 16, 2008 4:04 am ]
Post subject:

(not George) Harrison, who then died due to the infection he caught while delivering it or something like that.

Author:  DorostheConqueror [ Wed Jan 16, 2008 3:13 pm ]
Post subject:

Oh! Arotos! You're back! What a surprise.

P.S. It's only Harrison until January 20th, 2012, when President Schwarzenegger delivers his whopping 10,372 word speech from a heavily fortified compound in the Free States capitol of Newport, Rhode Island.

Well, unless the Constitution undergoes a major overhaul in the next 4 years, that would be legally impossible. Schwarzengerman or whatever the hell his name is isn't a U.S. citizen by birth.

Post subject:

Well, Deandra.
You're right.
William Henry Harrison, the President who served the shortest term gave the longest inauguration speech.
Your turn, I b'lieve.

You've never seen Demolition Man, I take it.

Think about it: married to the Kennedys, friends with the Bushes, the same career trajectory as the Gipper, only on steroids- Ahnold's time is coming. He's a self-made man in a land of immigrants and freedom, and he's at the apex of the most formidable political dynasty the US has ever known. Plus he did Total Recall and Conan the Barbarian. There is no stopping him. He will conquer all.
