I wish you luck in finding some new moderators Leilah. My experience is that people who ask to be mods are not the best ones to choose and a membership vote on who should be is always a popularity contest and again does not produce the members who are right for the job.

This is just an update: my internet connection went down last night due to my awful ISP, so I haven't been able to contact any of the intended new mods yet. Please be patient, I'll talk to them before I go to bed tonight.

Wow, I never check general banter. Can someone give me a link where I can catch up on whatever it is I missed? -- assuming that information is even public domain, of course.

How many new moderators are we going to be hoping for, anyway? 2? 3? (Though I do have experience, I am not volunteering.)
