I'll be up for competitions in chat but it may be a nightmare to handle due to different timezones and chat can go from very busy one moment to being dead.

If it's just cash prizes that can only be used for the US, i don't think it's worth doing due to how many regulars in chat are from other countries and may feel left out.

Exchanging currency happens automatically for most if not all online venues Dovah.

Yeah, it would be $10US worth of points.

I'd be interested, I'm just pretty sure I'd end up missing out on the questions now that I have work that usually ends when everyone else in chat goes to sleep.

I see the online game as having a direct competitor to a forum, which is the in-game chat mechanic. The game itself is a social experience, so no need to post "cool things I did", or ask for help, since you can share the adventures and ask people around you in the game for help.
