Some time ago, I had decided to try playing Morrowind with some of the Better Bodies mods. I noticed that all of the mods for Morrowind listed on the Wiki were on NexusMods, a site that I had never heard of before, mainly because I had never used mods before, since I was afraid that they would corrupt my save. I was a little iffy about visiting it, since I have a mild fear of the Internet due to viruses. When I clicked on the link (which was not a direct-download, as I was hoping for), I was taken to the site, where my anti-virus immediately warned me of a potential threat. I no longer use that computer (which was a Windows XP with AVG anti-virus) and have since gotten a new one (which is a Windows 7 Service Pack 1 64-bit with Microsoft Security Essentials). So my question is this: has anyone else gotten viruses from visiting NexusMods? I would really love to try out some of those better bodies, considering that the ten major races look just plain horrible in TES3. |

I've used Nexus Mods for years and have never had a lick of trouble from them as far as viruses go. |

Almost certainly a false positive. Nexus used to have trouble with that, as far as I remember. |

Not virus trouble, false positives. And if you're getting alerts about it, they obviously haven't fixed the problem yet. |
