Some time ago, I had decided to try playing Morrowind with some of the Better Bodies mods. I noticed that all of the mods for Morrowind listed on the Wiki were on NexusMods, a site that I had never heard of before, mainly because I had never used mods before, since I was afraid that they would corrupt my save. I was a little iffy about visiting it, since I have a mild fear of the Internet due to viruses. When I clicked on the link (which was not a direct-download, as I was hoping for), I was taken to the site, where my anti-virus immediately warned me of a potential threat. I no longer use that computer (which was a Windows XP with AVG anti-virus) and have since gotten a new one (which is a Windows 7 Service Pack 1 64-bit with Microsoft Security Essentials).

So my question is this: has anyone else gotten viruses from visiting NexusMods? I would really love to try out some of those better bodies, considering that the ten major races look just plain horrible in TES3.

I've used Nexus Mods for years and have never had a lick of trouble from them as far as viruses go.

Almost certainly a false positive. Nexus used to have trouble with that, as far as I remember.

Just to clarify, you are saying that NexusMods no longer has any virus trouble, yes?

Not virus trouble, false positives. And if you're getting alerts about it, they obviously haven't fixed the problem yet.
