I am currently running a Raspberry Pi 2, not exactly the prototypical gaming PC. I was wondering how many (if any) of the ES games I could run. I don't expect Skyrim or Oblivion to work, but I am more hopeful for Morrowind. Here are some stats for the PI that I could find: A 900MHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 CPU 1GB RAM VideoCore IV 3D graphics core |

I've never heard of those brands, but the figures given for each should dictate that you can definitely run Morrowind and all TES games prior. You could potentially run Oblivion fairly well on decent settings, maybe even Skyrim on average or better settings. Just a couple of quick questions of my own: who in the world makes this Raspberry Pi machine? Also, what operating system does it have? I will say that Windows 7 is the best for the current TES games, though they all will run on Windows 8, just Oblivion, definitely Morrowind, and all programmes prior to 2010-ish (I think) need to be installed outside of C:\Program Files\ or C:\Program Files (x86)\, as they tend to have problems in those locations. Not always, not all of the time, but somewhat often it happens, and they may not even be major ones. By the way, love your signature! |

Wow... I had no idea. My plan might actually work. ![]() The Raspberry Pi 2 is made by the Raspberry Pi Foundation, a UK based nonprofit company. http://www.raspberrypi.org/ As far as operating system, I know it can run Windows 10, and a Linux distribution called Raspbian, but I think their are a lot more to. And for the signature, I spared no expense. ![]() |

Alas, Windows 7 is the limit of my experience, but I would think that the same rules that apply to 8 should apply to 10. Skyrim should definitely look good on it, though. |

Bad news: apparently ARM processors don't work with x86 files, at all. So that sucks. But, I am not defeated! I should still be able to run Morrowind with OpenMW, and I may be able to run Skyrim and Oblivion on an experimental version of Wine. Wish me luck!

You might be interested in Oldblivion. Hard to get a hold of these days, but the wiki now hosts a copy. Let us know how the other games perform! |

First, Thank you, everyone, for your help. Second, For the moment, It appears that it is impossible to get Morrowind to run on a Ras-PI. https://forum.openmw.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2850 Edit: 17/8/15

![]() It's still only running 7fps, but with some driver optimisation it should get much better. |
