And don't post in their threads, because then they'll think the forum's inactive and not bother posting anymore.

If it's a felony for a mere common user to post in an announcement, feel free to copy this info into your post then delete this one - it just needs to be mentioned!

But no, everyone is free to post in this announcement, in fact, that's why I created it! Instead of making a report, you can also post your suspections here. And I just wanted to warn everyone for the spambot invasion . Just kidding.



If all spambots are created by one person, yes. But I don't think that thread is the cause of all this. Maybe we need a forum update for better protection against spambots.

Wow, that was a damn good spambot. Had me fooled. Legit username, solid grammar, even filled in "ES Games:" slot correctly.

It's proof of Evolution.

I could be a spambot. A spambot with 200 posts and an unusually dry sense of humour but a spambot nonetheless.

I don't think I've been here long enough to remember this invasion from before. I saw one on another forum I visit. The Tamiflu it advertised was more than tempting.

The last invasion,there was a thread to report them.like this one.as i recall,teinava was the one who reported the most.

I know of a forum that is completely overrun with spam. I mean, first of all the place is a ghost town and every single forum there's spam in it. It's terrible.

You know, I have actually noticed lately, alot of usernames consisting of Bot in their name... Maybe one should report those?

And, if anyone wants to know why I am posting alot, because I finally have more than just Morrowind, so I am trying to be more involved. And I have no life

Yahoo [Bot]
Google [Bot]
MSN [Bot]

Those are search engines, not spam bots .

A user that's controlled by a computer program and just posts ads of random stuff, from pirated games to "free" drugs.
