This bit of TES V: Skyrim fan art was prompted by the followers' habit to put on whatever loot you drop off into their inventory. At one point, Serana was running after my Bosmer vampire Midir clad in a set of enchanted fur armour, a pair of Orcish gloves, and a random Dwarven helmet intended for Calcelmo.

Whole crapload of new stuff on my DA.

Anyone want to start a UESP Group there?

The Thalmor Matryoshka Dolls
A set of 5 matryoshka dolls, representing the Thalmor from TES V: Skyrim: Elenwen, Ondolemar, Ancano and Ancarion, with a Talos cupcake as an accessory!
It may not be visible in the picture, but Ondolemar is holding an Amulet of Talos, Ancano is casting a spell, and Ancarion has a sheet of paper (supposedly the Stahlrim map) tucked below his belt behind his back.


The Dunmer Matryoshka Dolls
A set of 5 matryoshka dolls, representing the Solstheim Dunmer from TES V: Skyrim: Neloth, Teldryn Sero, Captain Modyn Veleth (with a Valentine card to Dreyla Alor behind his back!), Ralis Sedarys (who had to smoothen his hair down ) and a bottle o’something that has ‘Sadri’s’ written on it!


Dark Brotherhood Matryoshka Dolls
A set of 5 matryoshka dolls, representing the Dark Brotherhood: Nazir, Cicero, Babette, Spectral Assassin and Apple the kitten from the famous meme.

The wooden dolls (out of linden) are hand-painted and covered with lacquer; they can be taken apart and inserted into one another.

Seriously though, I'm a bad artist. I just draw for fun and don't ever expect to do anything with my "art". So be gentle

Your drawings are excellent Farore! I really like the Nord character, her hair especially. Your daughter is very cute and has a mischievous look too.
It's a shame that you dont draw anymore as they are so good!

I just pick out the low parts (around the face, around the eyes, under the cheeks and chin, around the nose, ect) and then shade, and blend repeatedly until I think it looks right.

It is a really simple, rather plain paint, but I like it. A lot random, a bit weird. Behold:



Emblem on the bag is a rain cloud with a lightning bolt over it if you couldn't make it out. Kind of wish I could change my forum name to Stolen Thunder, with the catch phrase as my sig. This little dude kinda grew on me.

And yes, he does have an onion for a head.

Between Thuro's good idea/art thread, and Farore's pretty face, I, for some strange reason, decided to draw this. Personally I think it turned out very well.

Caution, larges images. Recommend zooming the web page (Ctr + -) out to to 75% to appreciate the side-by-side layout.

Wow, they are incredibly talented. I'm in awe of the eye detail. Plus. Pugs are sooo cute.


Edit: I bought this original painting from a very talented painter in Jackson, Tennessee. It was delivered while I was away in Minnesota, so I will get to see it in person for the first time today. So excited.

I've started a drawing of my favorite character, a Bosmer named Farore. I just started it 30 minutes ago and am no where near finished, much to correct tons of small detail and shading to do. (my favorite part) I will update whenever I finish. I am seriously considering buying some colored pencils as well, Id love to show off the red in her hair and eyes. I was never happy with the Bosmer in Skyrim, they looked ugly to me. But after messing around in character creation I created Farore, and I think (although her cheeks are sunk in) shes beautiful. Definitely prettier than any in game. <3

Thank you, Venger. Well I'm pretty much done, I will probably continue to mess with it for awhile though. I didn't turn out as I thought it would, I wish I had made the red hair a little more subtle, it's really... bright. I may go over it with some browns and make it darker too, I dunno yet. Well, here it is.

I like it! I agree it is some bright hair, but given as Dunmer are very grey skinned, it gives her some personalized "pop" and positive contrast. I'd leave it. Else wise :thumbs up:

I've decided I should learn how to make gifs, I don't have anything in particular I want to make gifs of atm but it seemed like a worthwhile skill to have. Here's the first practice gif I just made, the animation isn't as smooth as could be as I messed up a little with the frames but it'll probably be better next time. ^.^
