Can't you get like, Description tags for 0.99?

Those are rare enough for a buy, and cost less than your gift card.

Trust me, if you add 5 bucks, you can actually get a nice game for 4 dollars, AND get a description tag you can sell for a LOT more (In TF2 currency, not real life currency.)

There are robot Heavies running around with the Fists of Steel. Scouts, Demoknights and Puff 'n' Sting Pyros; rejoice!

Is it like better bots or something? You versus another team of robots?
or is it a whole new Game mode, with new mechanics?

Also, Blu and Red fighting on the same side is Brilliant.

Whole new gamemode. I'm just hoping it isn't too hard to make maps for; We don't want another Territorial Control-style issue where no one can for the life of them figure out what the hell makes the map work.

Well Steam says Mann vs Machine is released and ready to go, but I can't launch it - steam says the servers are too busy to handle my request :P

Switch your download region to Pakistan, and then connect. :P

Haha yep, Greece worked for me

EDIT: Still can't play co-op games. Neither can most of my Steam friends. TF2 updates and launches but then says it can't connect to the matchmaking service or w/e

ANOTHER EDIT: Okay ... matchmaking is up but my party's been waiting 20 minutes and it says there's another 74 minutes estimated wait time. 9000 players in queue and 158 servers WORLDWIDE (with up to 6 players per)

It's like that commercial where they say the world's been part of a massive smartphone beta test ...

Just wait a day or two. Tf2 updates are always like this. Also, I wouldn't recommend Greece as your download region, there is a large tf2 community active here.

Nah Greece worked fine for downloading the update. It was after midnight there. The problem was that (reading the steam forum) it wasn't clear to server hosts how to create Mann vs. Machine servers and there were 10,000+ people trying to play and only <160 servers (with each holding up to 6 players). We need a lot more game servers

I see.

Well, as I said, we should wait a couple of days.

IMO, they released this update too soon, before they could get all of the servers prepared and stuff like that.

It's like this for every update, actually. Why should they upgrade their servers just for one update? It'll be chaotic for a few days, then the influx will go down and everything will be back to normal. It's how it always goes.

I understand that, but from what Archea mentioned about there being less that 160 servers up for co-op, somethin's gotta give, somethin's gotta give, somethin's gotta giiiiiiive...

Yeah, and as I said, why would Valve spend a crapton of money on servers, when a large percentage of people will stop playing after a short while? Also, a lot of servers for tf2 are being set up by 3rd parties. It'll take them a couple of days, but there will be enough to go around before long.

The wait time for my party right now is 33 minutes. I'm willing to wait.

I am slightly peeved at the Mann Up thing. If I got this right, I have to pay around 0.70 euros every time I want to play on a Mann.Co server.

WHAT

I might buy a few and use them occasionally, but once the initial storm dies down it'll be easier to get on a server.

I'll just buy a batch whenever I finally get to play (today just had to be a day where I won't be home at all until after 2 am).
