Okay, okay. I think I've figured it out. Looks wise,
Kae Serinuma:

Personality wise, just throw in some Tohru Honda (Fruits Basket), Kyoya Ootori (Ouran), and Izumi Sena (Love Stage!!), and you've got me.

Well shucks Mars, I think we were twins, minus the blinding blonde color of my hair back then :wat:

But seriously yall, if I had to be anybody, please, please let it be Yato. Shenanigans and all!

But no, seriously, we even share similar style. And by style, I mean get rid of the sports jacket n just replace it with a skater hoody n some dark grey jeans.. But ya gotta keep that bandana.. Just gotta
So very Yato:

Just to side track for a bit.. But mates.. Do I truly wish Spice & Wolf would be available on Crunchyroll :< it's not fair. Mushishi season 2 is available, even if it's just the sub(the Dub is arguably superior). So too is Psycho Pass. But then why.. Why no Spice & Wolf :<

I miss watching that series.. Hell, it's one of the few series where the I absolutely adore the characters, and will down right admit I find their moments and interactions absolutely adorable :3 I mean, how can you not adore Holo, best female protagonist ever am I right? Right?! And Lawrence is nobody to scoff at either
Speaking of Holo...:
And just to add an extra tid bit.. I took fair inspiration from the main protagonist in regards to the personality traits of my character Nora in the TA2 roleplay <_< her original source material sort of lacks the expressive depth and finner details(The fox bit being purely coincidental, blame Hans the Fox on that one)

Anyways, if you noticed any resemblance.. Ya.. That's why. Just wanted to cement that detail

Pride, liveliness, and coyness runs deep in these two :P

Have any of you watched Diamond is Unbreakable? I've heard it's actually pretty good....which isn't surprising but after reading Jojolion I'm all burnt out on JJBA.

Howl is very relatable. If I was a wizard I too would avoid my responsibilities and use my powers to style my hair and pick up girls.

I haven't read or watched any JoJo, might check it out eventuallly. Really all I know about it is it has some strong boys, "It was me, Dio" and To Be Continued

Ouran is indeed a wonderful show - even people who claim to not like anime like Ouran. The only person I've met who said that they didn't like it, because "that Japanese stuff is too weird", didn't even see a full episode.

I haven't watched or read any JoJo, either. From what I've heard/seen, I don't think that it would be a favourite of mine. But who knows, maybe I'll try it once I'm done the 48 other anime on my list.

Yeah, Ouran is super enjoyable so far, and my girlfriend is a huge fan so getting to see her freak out about everything is pretty sweet. We're on the episode with the little girl that claims to be Tamaki's little sister.

I tried JoJo, I wasn't too big of a fan. I mean, I get why it's popular, but there is just some element that fails to capture me. Plus I can't search up stuff about the Foo Fighters on tumblr without being flooded with images of the character with the same name as the band.

God dammit Mars!

JoJo isn't too bad, even for a shoujin. It may be horribly riddled with clichéd tropes.. Till you realize it's one of the predecessors that helped cement said tropes <_<

Either way.. It's a shame it comes off with such a poor and dull start, but it really kicks up the entertainment after the first at and only seems to get better and how do I say.. More bizarre

Anime round-up:

Last month I watched a bit of Ghost in t' Shell - Stand Alone Complex on Youtube. Looked pretty good, and actually reminded me a little of these v weird dreams I had when I first got into computer programming. So I snagged series 1 off eBay, liked what I saw and picked up series 2 as well. Then I watched series 1 again... And am currently watching series 2 for the second time. There's not much TV out there you can watch twice back-to-back like that so a big *thumbs-up emoticon* for GitS:SAC. Not really a huge fan of the 'cyberpunk' thing but GitS manages to convey itself well as a 'black-ops' style story with some good team dynamics so it works out however you approach it.

Also glad to see the Major has got some proper clothes to wear for the 2nd series...

Legend of the Millennium Dragon
Awkward schoolboy discovers he is a descendant of someone or other and gets brought back to medieval Japan to help fight demons. A few interesting ideas that never really get explored, leaving the film to follow a v predictable path. Kinda meh.

Appleseed
Not even sure if this counts as anime. Anyway it's all computer-generated cel-shaded stuff so I guess that makes it CG Anime or something. It's over 10 years old now so I imagine there have been better attempts since but it still looks pretty good to me. They used motion capture as well so a lot of the character movements are just spot-on - though that also made some of the stuff the CG 'physics engine' did look a bit awkward by comparison.

Personally didn't really get into the 'Humans and Clones Engineered Society Utopia' story. Worth watching for the animation and maybe you'll dig the story, who knows.

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time
Very pleasant film. I guess it would make a good 'date movie' - so all I need to do now is find a young lady into anime and I am all set.

You should know there's a film set after Series 2 called Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex - Solid State Society which serves as a continuation of the story. So you should watch that after you finish the second series.

I think series 2 is stronger than series 1 and yeah, I'm glad Motoko ends up wearing a better outfit for the second series. Anyway Stand Alone Complex is my favorite show and I love Cyberpunk so *shrug*

Okay cool, thanks. I have the original film and the 'Innocence' sequel to watch next but will keep an eye out for Solid State Society.

I think the 2nd series did well with its strong story arc weaving together all these elements that could have been just 'story of the week' throw-away episodes.

And that bit...
Spoiler:
...when the Tiltwing gets blown up...
... I was just staring at the screen for 30 seconds - "whoa you did not just do that!?!" :o

Awesome TV.

The background music puzzles me here and there, though. Sometimes it's just awful, really distracting.

After completing my second run-through of Fruits Basket, it's been decided. You all need to go and watch it right now. I don't care if rom-coms are your thing or not. Go. See the beauty that is this show.

And now that I'm done that, I'll get around to finishing Psycho-Pass.

But.. But.. What if I don't wanna watch Fruit Basket :< what if instead I just want watch something else. Maybe re-live the internal strive that Watamote brings to me(it ain't no rom-com. But gosh darn it. I feel the feels)
