In no particular order: - Shawshank Redemption - The Good, the Bad and the Ugly - Seven Samurai - Nolan's Batman trilogy - Lord of the Rings trilogy - Star Wars (the original trilogy) - Apocalypse Now - Alien - Pulp Fiction - The Godfather (1 and 2)
Here's a few films i like, but not in order or anything. i've never taken the time to choose a ''favourite film''. if i did, it would probably be an Animated film. anyways:
- Kung Pow: Enter the Fist! - Wreck it Ralph - Shrek films 1, 2, and 4 (3 was a bit dissapointing, but not all bad) - Up! - Captain America: The First Avenger - Star Wars Prequel Trilogy
i may put more later. i'm not very good at choosing films i like. these are a few films that i am sure i enjoyed
All Pirates of the Caribbean Edward Scissorhands Nightmare before Christmas Shaun of the dead Hot fuzz All Austin powers Saving private Ryan The dark knight Dark shadows Boondock saints Pretty much every movie Johnny Depp is in.
The list could go on and on as many many movies hit my favorite criteria.
- Plan 9 From Outer Space : this is a film you will find at the top of many ''worst film'' lists, and in my opinion this is a tragedy. this film is the masterpiece of Edward D Wood Jr. there is no way a film like this could considered the worst. no this film is too entertaining!! as i watched it i could barely contain my belly laughs and tears of joy.
I can't answer that question and I hate being asked it. I really don't know what my favourite film is. Some people do and that's great for them but I have no idea.
@The Tom - 2001: A Space Odyssey is a film that I really need to revisit. I saw it around five or six years ago and I remember liking it, but I have a feeling I was just too dumb to appreciate it fully. I can't trust my opinion from so long ago. Having said that, I'm generally don't enjoy Kubrick's stuff as much as others do. I've seen all his most famous films: Barry Lyndon, Dr. Strangelove, A Clockwork Orange, The Shining, and Full Metal Jacket. They were all solid films, but I don't worship them like others do. 2001: A Space Odyssey is the only one that I have any intention of revisiting.
@DorostheConqueror - Pink Flamingos? Really? What a bizarre film. Great, and definitely worth mentioning, but totally bizarre. John Waters is a strange man. I admit, I've only sen bits and pieces of it - probably about half of it in total - but it's the kind of film where certain scenes on their own are more than enough to figure out what the rest of the film is all about (still, probably should watch it in full though...). Also, "Doctor Adventures starring Eve Lawrence"... Is that a p o r n o? And "Air Buddies 3: Space Buddies"? ... I think Ri'Zahr said it best... Though I can't tell if the whole list is serious lol.
im honestly surprised that you have Citizen Kane in your top 10. i have never understood the love for that film. you know ''greatest film ever made'' and all that.
