It was when Wonka lost it after Charlie and Joe came back asking for the lifetime supply of chocolate. Does "You get NOTHING!!!" ring a bell? (I found the clip of it here.)

Oh yes, he does freakout quite a bit in that scene. Something tells me he's a little bit cross!
On the freakout scale, Wonka's is pretty low compared to Arnie's flip, in this scene from Total Recall.

Then he flipped out in Kindergarten cop and told them all to shut up. Only the Undercovercopnator could do that. Yes, i used that term. So what? What? WHAT? Stop judging me! *pulls coat over self and storms out*

Very good reference! Arnold is a childhood hero.

An Arnold impersonation is always good for a laugh. The quotes I favour for mine are the " You bluu my curver!" one, and also, "Who is your daddy and what does he do?" from Kindergarten Cop.

And made a return in Terminator 5 and fought himself. Admittly, a CGI copy of himself but it's frigging Arnie up against late 80s/early 90s Arnie! I have not seen the film and have heard it's a cross between missed potential and pandering. I personally feel that it's trying way too hard to make up for Terminator: Yeah, we lied about the future war setting.. No laser weapon for you but hey, we have the Bale aka Salvation aka disappointment aka that film that has no exist after the previous film had no reason to exist but that film was excellent but not as good as Judgement Day.

Arnold also gave birth to.....

The babynator in what is pretty much a boring film known as Junior. That scene is infamous due to how creepy the super imposed Arnie's face is on the baby.

I think Arnie was looking a bit old in T3, and in T5 he is obviously even older. Yes, Arnie is iconic as the Terminator but personally I feel like they are overusing him in the role -the fact that they're reusing footage of him from the younger days feels like a bit of a hash attempt at making a terminator film where he is in it again but not solely as a man (cyborg) in his 60s.

Saying that, I don't have any strong feelings towards his role, but for avid Terminator fans, I'm guessing the continued Arnie fest is a good thing.

I think he is trying to revive his career but to be honest, his days are over. He's past his prime and there is only so much Terminator can do. That and it pretty much stinks of surfing on people's nostalgia instead of doing it's own thing but still, it has got to be better then T4.

I remember the bit in the tunnel but what was the Wonka Freakout?

YOU STOLE FIZZY LIFTING DRINKS!
YOU GET NOTHING, YOU LOSE!
GOOD DAY SIR!

Edit: If I may add, I thought that was an excellent scene. So much of the story about Willy Wonka's character is told in that one scene, especially through the set design.

Yes, it was a strong scene indeed. He had high hopes in Charlie and they were dashed when he couldn't resist the lure of the bubbles.

The film ends on a high note, but they never tell you what happened to the other kids. Anyone read the book? Does it tell you?

IIRC some of them are straight up dead.
As is true Roald Dahl fashion.

EDIT: I'm not sure about the book, but apparently in the movie, the children are fixed and sent home with a lifetime supply of chocolate.

Definitely, from a critical perspective. As a little kid who had read the book and thought Wonka was solely a whimsical lovable eccentric, it was more than a little jarring.

Also I don't remember anyone explicitly dying, but I could be wrong. My naive mind possibly just imagined Augustus and Veruca surviving somehow.

If they did die - That factory just got a whole lot more sinister. Now I'm starting to wonder about the Oompa-Loompas...

I remember finding The Twits rather creepy. There was a whole lot of unpleasant descriptions in that book. They could go really gross if they made a film of that one.
Trunchbull in the Maltida film was a great portrayal though.

Refer to my edit above, they apparently don't die.

But Roald Dahl is [&@%!] up regardless. I remember reading The Landlady in 8th grade, which is some messed up [&@%!]. Old ladies poisoning visitors and turning them into stuffed dollhouse people is not kosher.

That's twisted stuff right there.
I vaguely remember one with a boy poisoning his horrible aunt too...George's Marvellous Medicine, that was it.

Looking at it now, it actually gives kids the really bad idea of mixing up a possibly very dangerous concoction of household liquids.

That reminds me. A couple weeks ago I couldn't get to sleep, so I looked for something short to read, and found that I still had Fantastic Mr. Fox on a shelf. Score. It was as legendary as I remembered it.

I think I remember Charlie seeing the other kids going home when he was up in the elevator, but I'm not sure; I could just be remembering it wrong. It's been about 14 years since I read it.

I think it was in the Charlie film that he saw it. If Wonka existed(the person, not the god awful chocolate bars that were released for the film 10 years ago and were utterly, utterly rubbish. I mean, whatever they used, it was crap. I remember taking one bite out of them a few years back and i literally chucked it away. It was that awful), he wouldn't get away with his factories in the UK as, well, we're kinda fond of overdoing it on health and safety. I mean, i've even had to do several risk assements just to do this post and will have to do anotehr report on a risk assessment of this post then do another assessment on the submission of the report and well, you get the drift.

Oh and my faith in tv pretty much quit the job today. It dropped it's pants, photocopied it's ass and nailed it to the boss's door before flipping the bird and walking out to the sound of ACDC. Why? Because.... they've finally did it. Those manicas. They finally really did it! They made therapy into a reality show for one celeb. :(

We don't get them over here. Ok, we do but only in the foreign food sections of supermarkets for a high price sometimes. I do recall a lawsuit between cadbury and, i think Hershey over import rights thus leading to Cadbury being banned from sending their goods to America despite there being no real reason for it. Apparently, it was something to do with confusion but i don't think it was.

Either way, Hershey's is [&@%!]. I mean, chocolate is chocolate and I'm fine with eating it, but I've certainly had better.

I was just reading this on TVTropes (the Enforced Method Acting). Apparently Gene Wilder's wig-out in the scene was what he did only when the camera was rolling— he never unleashed that during the rehearsals because he wanted to get a look of genuine shock out of the kid playing Charlie when the scene was actually filmed.

It seems that another favourite show of mine will get butchered by.....

a modern reboot. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. er.. that's kinda not the best show to remake as it's stuck in the 90s due to, well, the title using 90s slang for cool. I also suspect they'll cram in pointless celebrities and whilst Will Smith is involed in a behind the scenes way, it just won't be that good. Then again, my petty dislike for reboots and films or shows could be blinding me.
