That's awesome, Leroy! Let me know how they taste!

I made asparagus roasted in the oven with parmesan cheese. They were extremely delicious.

Had fedichini the other night.

Funny thing. We are good friends with indian folks who own a pizza place in california. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, we our families make dinner for eachother. Them on Wednesday, us on Thursday. Tonight we had chicken and rice, and tomorrow we are making them greek salad.

I just cooked up a regular cheese omelet with bacon about an hour ago for breakfast. Quite delicious.
But I enjoy cooking all the time. I especially enjoy spicy foods as well. I put jalapenos and sriracha on ANYTHING pretty much.

One weird food combination I like is A-1 Steak Sauce on white rice.

So pizza aside, I'm pretty sure quiche is the best meal ever. You can really put anything in it! I'm eating a delicious one with fresh spinach and tomatoes...mmmmm. I'm going to have to try to make some breakfast quiches to grab on my way out the door to work. Too bad my brother probably wouldn't eat them - he doesn't know what he's missing!

Me too, I love jalepenos! I grew them as well as habaneros, though they were too hot for everyday eating.

I used to despise quiche when I was a little kid. I remember I used to have to force it down... but now I actually like it. With hot sauce

I grow habaneros at the moment as well! Home-grown is always the best. But yea, jalapenos always manage to make a dish x10 times better. :D

Hot sauce? That's something I'll have to try. The only "sauce" I am super familiar with is Heinz ketchup, which my father used to get little kid me to eat anything. If that doesn't have "I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA" stamped all over it, I don't know what does! :P

(Don't worry. Nowadays I enjoy my food for its natural tastes!)

Once again, you are incompetent. How in the world have you never had hot sauce? Of any description? It's hot sauce!
But I still stand by the fact that Old Bay is the greatest thing you could ever add to any food item. I know its not a sauce, but when you have Old Bay, you need no sauce.

Of course I've had hot sauce - but never on my quiche! Come now, scrib, for shame.

Actually... I thought you had never had hot sauce before as well  I guess it was just the way I read it.

I don't believe she has, I think she's trying to cover up her mistake.

Ohh man, dudes. We should form a club.
Jalapenos are the best thing ever, they also make a great spice for everything!

You should totally fill a quiche with chorizo, leeks and crumbly goat's cheese. One of the best combinations ever.

I made a stir-fry last night, just chicken and vegetables with no rice or noodles - the only healthy thing we've had all week. Tonight I'm not cooking - we're going to either an Italian or a Lebanese restaurant - depends which one has more delicious-looking food.

Oh, what a great idea!

So I discovered a little deli near work and am currently being acquainted with The Fred: a delicious sandwich with turkey, provolone, lettuce, mayo, oil and vinegar. Mmmmmmm. Lunch time. <3

I may have mentioned Capriotti's at some point, which I don't recall if you've heard of them or not. A sub shop that's sorta local to the area, though they randomly have a place in Florida, and Nevada and such. Anyway, they have the Bobbie, which is an awesome sandwich, because its Thanksgiving dinner on a roll. Turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and mayo. Delicious. Their turkey sub is just fantastic too, but if you only go to Capriotti's once, get the Bobbie.

Turkey in food? We don't get that around here. We do get bacon with everything, though, so it's not so bad.

Soooo... I don't know what to make for supper tonight. Half of me realises that I should totally go to the store to purchase things to make food with. That half is further divided into: "hey, why not try out one of your brand new French recipes!" and "did you see how much you ate last night? You can't follow that with super rich food tonight!" The other half of me is just telling me to not go to the store, because shopping sucks. That half might make us go hungry tonight, because I don't have anything in the house to cook with, really. Not even eggs.

I never understood the 'twice baked" but it must make it more delicious...
