Monster Hunter is getting a film.

Paul Anderson is involved. It's essentially crap. What the summary is(so far) is that a patrol of UN peacekeepers are transported to the Monster Hunter world and must learn how to defeat it. BECAUSE MONSTER HUNTER IS ALL ABOUT THAT! Instead, oh, i don't know, people hunting monsters with big ass swords or big ass guns then needing even bigger ass swords and bigger ass guns(rocket guns, i think or no guns at all) and being fantasy. Nah, let's go with the laziest plot ever and likely be a "Look! Milla is awesome! These guys(Characters from teh games)? Pfft, they are weak. Milla must save them."

Why, Capcom? Why do you torture us? Was it because we shat on your DLC practises? Why must you hurt so many people?

Its our longest drought of content tbf. Longer than pre-skyrim launch.

I still keep the forums permanently opened as my home tab, mostly to spot updates or spam reports, even if I'm not as fast to respond

Then naturally, we must take over the world and force people to post in our forum. Or get our hands on TESVI and leak false spoilers to sabotage all the other wikis out there so that we can be the true lord of TES. We do not share power.

This is why I am probably on a UESP list of NEVER, NEVEr, EVER,EVER,EEEEEEEEEEEEEEVEEER allow Dovah to suggest ideas for UESP.

Despite being a newcomer, it's a shame the forums have been slow (or rather, slowed down). I've been reading through old posts and it seems I missed out on the fun. TESVI can't come any sooner...

Aarah's Log, Stardate 03-2019

Entered into the forum zone. Lifeforms seem few, if any. Remains of a once thriving colony seem to be everywhere. What happened here? Evidence of departure to a new colony seem to be present. Lack of fuel here was likely an explanation. Perhaps they will return when zone becomes refreshed with a new source of fuel. Only time will tell.

Yeah, I think Discord's where most of the activity's gone. It's not a bad thing that it's so active - certainly is way more active than the old IRC, and has helped bring the forum and wiki sides together - I just wish it didn't have as big an impact on the forum. I'll still always be around here too, though.

I'll be here until they discover that I've been selling UESP secrets to... er... crap, did i just say that out loud? I mean, Beta's been forcing me to sell UESP secrets to the other wiki. *shifty eyes*

reddit is definitely not going to replace the UESP Forums. Yes they have more traffic than us, but we've been keeping it going for longer than that, and have gone through longer droughts in posts here. I do want to help "bring back" the forums though.

Funny, you'd think that with all the times on all the platforms Bethesda has released this game over and over again, there'd be enough new incoming players to explore the forums.

Or could it be that fridge owners get their Skyrim play hints over on the Maytag service and customer support board?
