Call it an early birthday present.
It's a substitute for the Aretha Franklin poster.

Who else is excited to see the new Halloween movie?

Post subject:  Re: General Discussion

Haven't seen one in a while. Halloween kind of blended in with the rest of the horror movies to me.

Post subject:  Re: General Discussion

I remember there was a poster for it in one The First Purge. Aww, The First Purge is so good. I just wish they hadn't called it that.

Anyway, they did this "what if we make a direct sequel to Halloween years after the fact" thing before with Halloween H20. And like, that was actually pretty good. But no, I'm not really looking forward to it that much. Then again, I'm not against seeing it, so if people I know are going, I probably will too.

There's a new one? Excuse me.

*puts on full metal face helmet and rants inchortely into it*

Ah, better. Now, what were we talking about? There's a new halloween film? Excuse me.

*Repeats it again*

Yeah, I have no faith in sequels to classic horror flicks. I mean, Halloween H20 occured. A rapper/popstar/whateverheisknownfor killed Mike Myers. WHY DID I WATCH THAT FILM!? WHY! *rips shirt* YOU KILLED IT!

Oh, I’ve been seeing trailers for the new movie but I somehow didn’t know it’s not the first. I can’t say I’m planning on going to see it, anyway.

What the hell are you talking about? I don't think you did watch that film because that doesn't happen.
Spoiler:
Laurie Strode and Michael have like, a 15 minute battle. Then when he's being taken away in a body bag, she steal the ambulance because she isn't certain he's dead, and after crashing it, decapitates him. It's great

Anyway, I love John Carpenter. But Halloween, despite being his most popular film, I wouldn't put it in the top 3. Which are The Thing, In The Mouth of Madness and They Live. Goddamn, I need to watch Village of the Damned at some point.

It was one of the bad halloween films. Tis a reality show with busta rhymes and virtually has nothing related to halloween. Just an unlikable cast with a crap plot and michael doing stabby things.

EDIT: It was Ressurection.

You get to experience the pain of a thousand souls. The torment of a billion innocents as they are being slaughtered. The fires of arnor shall be extiniguised and the dark flame shall prevail. That, shall be your reward.

Stuck to my guns, had a debauchery free bday. I thought itd be depressing for other reasons but turned out that wasnt the case whatsoever, was a nice day. Also since I didn't go out I didn't blow a bunch of money. Only money I spent today was $25ish on soil amendment. Possibly renting a tiller tomorrow and getting soil ready for planting.

Not sure what you mean? If this is in reference to Skyrim farmhands then you have no idea how close you are on target... Maybe a bit odd being so easily influenced at my age but I genuinely like the aesthetics of the gardens/farms seen in skyrim and this is why i refuse to plant in raised beds, greenhouse, etc.

EDIT: Sheo I know you like the thrift stores would be cool if you tagged along with me for the flea market. They've got EVERYTHING. Today I got Unbreakable and A New Hope for $1 a piece then bought a few cds as well. Flea Market kinda like the Vatican, a city within a city. Kinda like a tiny Miami. Amazing food too. You'd love it.

Yep, it was a reference to the Skyrim farmers. Hopefully you won't have any trouble with dragons bothering you on your land.

Sounds like you wouldn't like the greenhouse add-on in the Hearthfire expansion. Nothin' but raised beds there!

Ha. It looks really cool actually but DS somewhat turned me off of it.

DS...Dark Spark?

I like the greenhouse. It's like bringing a bit of the outside in. And you don't get pestered by giants in it either.
